Having owned a nokia 9110 for two years I was looking forward to the release of the nokia 9210 since it was announced in 2000. Upon buying it two days after its release date I was very impressed by the colour screen and much improved keyboard but felt that the screen could have been a little larger without increasing the dimensions of the phone. The software capabilities of the device are light years ahead of its predecessor and web browser is a significant improvement as is the inclusion of... (read more)

Despite its size and few problems the Nokia 9210 is a very handy tool especially if you require to receive and send emails. The screen is more than adequate for this function. I miss the touch screen that the Psion offers but the rest makes up for that. (read more)

The Nokia 9210 Communicator is a great concept: the synchronizable calendar is great, and it has improved considerably from the Nokia 9110. Also, the design and ergonomy represent an improvement over 9110 Communicator, not to mention the color screen. However, the epoc operating system is not there yet: the system is simply too slow. I suspect that the design of the memory indexing function has failed miserably. Even the text message function is too slow: it takes ages for the icons to... (read more)

This phone is a superb replacement for the Nokia 9110, I just can't wait to see what the replacement is going to be like for the Nokia 9210.
There is no other mobile phone on the market which can match it on the number of features it has. I use a psion 5mx as well, but now that is left at home because the Communicator can take care of everything, the digital Camera supplied is garbage, I brought a Sony DSC-P50 to use with it, the picture quality is sensational I can now take pictures and... An incredible mobile phone/PDA and more. Nokia, however, need to start improving their customer service. Try emailing them or asking for support!!! The very annoying bugs have yet to be formally announced by Nokia, though I have heard rumors that they are recalling units. I called my distributor in Oman and they confirmed that there were problems with my phone, and said they would replace it. 10 days later I am still waiting! (read more)

Worth buying if you can find at around £500, but Nokia could have done more to make the accessories more compatible with their other phones. (read more)

After a few days use, the Nokia 9210 seems to be living up to expectations. The screen is superb, web sites look like web sites, games look like the Gameboy advance and the free digital camera is limited but does a satisfactory job (you could take a photo, download it and then connect to your mail server and email it within a minute)
If you have a 9110, its worth the upgrade, if you don't have a 9110, its worth the money. Buy one and you'll wonder how you've lived without it (haven't... (read more)
