My husband was also on my insurance. I don't know what happened, but he and another lady touched cars. He was on a hill in traffic behind her. Anyway, the third party phoned and stated we had done £800 worth of damage and she needed her boot realigned. So, we decided to go through insuranc ...

The repair centre told me my car would be ready in 7 - 10 days (very small dent in bonnet) - It actually took 20 days. They say repairs are guaranteed for 5 years, but won't confirm what has been replaced. They did replace my number plate, which was not damaged, and they replaced it with one adverti ...

I am fully insured and protected with business use for myself, and my partner is insured for nothing on the same policy. I regularly try everyone else for comparison car insurance, and they don't even come close. I am in my late twenties, I have 5 years no claims, a £15k car, 13k miles per an ...

My car was next to my neighbours which was set alight. I damaged the side panels and the front bumper getting my car out of the situation.
I rang Privilege car insurance the following day on Monday morning. I got straight through to customer services. I gave them all the relevant details, police cr ...

Privilege car insurance are one of the worst car insurance companies I've had the misfortune to deal with.
    Reasons:

About five weeks ago I had my bumper ripped off. I reported it to the claims department at Privilege who recommended me to a car repair garage called Auto Insight of Freeth Street ...

I had an accident last August, and I rang Privilege Car Insurance on Saturday morning. The call centre was OK. My car was taken for repair on the Wednesday. I had a good quality courtesy car. The repair was fine and done on time. Excellent service. The renewal is still the cheapest I can find.

It didn't pay us to be Privileged! Our car was stolen and not recovered. Customer service was non-existent, with contradictory info given and general lack of assistance. That said, their engineer was helpful and made a fair offer. We had to wait for 3 separate cheques for the car and it's contents. ...

Privilege car Insurance have awful customer service. It was a bureaucratic nightmare to confirm my cars factory standard alarm and immobiliser. Would you think that 2 letters from a garage would be enough? As it stands my car is still not really covered for theft, as I cannot muster sufficient secur ...

I took out my car insurance policy with Privilege in june as it was 10% cheaper than my previous insurer Directline who are also the parent company, everything fine until I had an accident when a lorry hit me and damaged the whole of the rightside of the car, so my car went in for some major work, w ...
