Budget cust servcie when making a claim was the worst I have ever come across. I work in the financial services industry and beleieve that cust serv is paramount to bus retention.

I rang up to cancel my Budget Car insurance and I have had to pay nearly the whole amount of insurance. The people don't know what they are on about and was also trying to charge me for another month even though i had just paid one!!

I wanted a policy that I could add my grown up kids onto as temporary drivers, as and when I needed to. I was assured I could - no problem. Oh were they wrong ! Smart people do not go with Budget... I was clearly an idiot. Do not consider using their monthly payments if there is any chance you may need to cancel the policy early - you will be heavily penalised for this and ultimately could end up paying a HUGE settlement fee.
