I have not used these people for web hosting for at least two years but they have sent an email saying that they will automatically renew using my card details. Terrible web hoster. I have problem to upload my website constantly, especially at night and on Sunday. The website doesn't even have many traffic in the first place. “Slowest servers combined with worst ever customer service”

We have continually complained about the slowness of their servers, but their staff either on the phone or via their online ticketing system don't even comprehend what we are saying. Whether they lack the required English language skills or are just completely computer illiterate, I am unsure. They also bill you for services you'd think would be standard, such as adding a subdomain with a mysql server. “Disgusting, Computer illiterate company”

i have hosted with streamline.net for just under 2 years now. At first the service wasn't too bad, but after I renewed the service was disgusting, it wasn't great in the first place but I didn't have time to look elsewhere. I am currently moving away from streamline due to constant email problems, I'm sick to death of logging into my account and seeing service issues. ouch. It's completely up to the host when it comes to rules. That seems one of the harshest I've come across. If you get it resolved, check out www.KnowlesHosting.com - They give you complete freedom to do what you want with YOUR domain.

I don't really need to repeat what everyone else is saying, suffice to say I would warn anyone to run a mile from this company. My experience: they apply the letter of the contract rigidly to their own detriment, and hide behind terse, illiterate one-line emails. this is a very similar account to mine . They are appalling on all levels of their so called service .

They don't even let you cancel your account which is probably their only acknowledgement of their own incompetence .

They should be out of business and I'm sure this would be the case if they allowed clients to leave .

Along with them taking money from our account to register a domain name for one of our clients but did not register it. This company started off well, we have been with them for 5 years now and were happy until about 12 months ago. The email is continually going down, with no explanations from them apart from a vague comment on their website. The call centre staff have now been transferred abroad and are extremely unhelpful with little idea of what is happening if it is not on the script in front of them. I joined aprox 26 days ago with personal package, billed monthly. It states that you can get a 30 day money back guarantee. I sent a ticket to cancel on Friday and still i have heard nothing back and it's now Monday lunch time! I am just waiting for them to screw me over. Streamline.net has consistently provided slow hosting with a poor web interface. I was going to leave them this year, but they sent me a renewal email with a very good, low price quoted. So, I decided to stay. As instructed, I tried to phone sales for help. I received a message saying the phone mumber was out of order. “Stole Money from Me!”

I would not recommend anyone use Streamlinenet. In my case, I set up a website and domain name for a charity with my credit card on file (you have to have credit card details held by them). The domain name was transferred away and I assumed that this would mean that the hosting would expire at the end of its two year term. I bought a Domain from them because I needed to buy a domain and they had like 1 month free webhosting or something, so I took it, little did I know that this 1 month contract tied me down to a 1 year contract paying, a not large amount a month still, I didn't really want it.
