A years a long time for most people, so remembering to repay your annual hosting is something most people forget: so auto-renewal seems like a good idea. I had not updated my card details on Streamline.net because I wrongly assumed this would be an effective way to get them to close my account, which was what I wanted them to do. Did they do that? No, they renewed my subscription for another 2 years and then threatened me with debt collectors and to destroy my credit rating because I had not paid the advance fee. “Rubish”

All they want is the money. Customer service apalling. When people realise that they receive no benefits for the high prices, they will vote with their feet to companies that offer a better service at market rates. Then Streamline will start to wonder why they are having to close down. They are a total waste of money and their technical staff are a joke. “Maybe not the worst, but VERY close to the definition!”

As a developer, I have over 100 clients using Streamline. Some have multiple domains, and every one of them is complaining especially about speed and of course the non-existent 'Tech Support'. “Avoid Streamline and Worldpay ”

i was trading with streamline for about 5 months then i got 3 orders for some server equipment so i shipped out & i got tracking numbers few weeks later the chargeback came 1400 pounds i shipped to a alternative address than the billing address - i later found out that i was not covered to do so i payed the charge back and took it down as losses i continued business untill one day i went to my bank to find that over 2500pounds was taken from my account i called my bank they said streamline… Read Full Review

“The worst web hosting company ever!”

Save yourself the hassle in the long run and avoid this company at all costs. Their service status update never reflects whats actually happening on their messy infrastructure. If they mess something up, which they regularly did on me then they simply shutdown their support ticket system so you can't get in touch with them. “Absolutely and Utterly TERRIBLE”

Streamline have twice taken money from my account without notifying me, the first time yes I forgot to cancel the trial, but was refused a refund. This time is just stupid, they've taken £200 from my account, and are not replying to all of my support tickets, I called only to get a non english person telling me they would can see I requested to cancel 2 years ago and would let the team know to contact me. “Lack of support”

I have been with streamline.net for 3 years on a dedicated server package. Overall the service has been reliable. 3 days, however, my dedicated server went down and it is still down, the support is not 24 hours, and when I call I get put through to an overseas call centre who keep telling me it is with the engineers. “Why must they make simple things so hard? Painful...”

Streamline.net apparently don;t let it's customers manage it's own DNS. All I wanted to do was point my webhosting elsewhere - simple right? Answer, wrong. After confirming and spelling out my domain name 7 times (not a typo, that's 7 times!) and re explaining my issue several further times before their offshore support center understood my issue I was finally told that changing an A record on my domain was not possible - I honestly can;t think of a single hosting company that wouldn;t allow me… Read Full Review

“STAY AWAY!!!”

I contacted them using their online form to say that I didnt want my account anymore. I did this as I didnt want to talk to them over the phone as I have hearing difficulties. When I never heard anything back I emailed them and still never heard anything off them. You send a support ticket to them stating you wish to cancell your account then they send you one back saying do you want to cancell your account if you dont reply to this saying yes you want to cancell your account they dont. rubbish company owned by Fasthosts send an Email to this person Emma Butterworth <Emma.Butterworth@fasthosts.com>
I have cancelled several accounts with these terrible people with more to come
I have got a unactivated credit card so I have changed the details on my account to this one
that way they will never be able to take money again

Asked for them to remove my card details from their 'automagic' payment, they took so long to reply to my request that they charged me. I am now having to justify a refund! Additionally, I had reports from google that their 'shared' ssl offering could not be trusted and accessing the ssl-01 domain might install malware, I informed streamline, they told me that I should look into the problem myself. “Unreliable and poor customer service.”

This hosting company is a poor excuse for customer service. The company only has support 9 to 6 Monday to Friday and nothing at the weekends. I have had untold amount off issues with them. We can't email hotmail accounts so have had to use Gmail for a SMTP server. The email constanly stops working and when this happens out of hour you just have to wait. “Worst Ever Web Hosting Site - Money Snatchers”

I took unlimited package for which I was told a price of £99.00 This hosting was for a charity company and as per term and conditions of the company, I was told that I have to pay 50%. I found this company to be the most undermanaged company of all time, their customer service was rotton to the core, very bad comunication of the highest level you wait days for ticket replies and when you get an anser its the wrong one also they automatically charge you for sevices that you don't need or want most of all I found you were limited to what you could put on your website.. “Customer Service is a massive let down”

I've been with streamline for nearly 8 years with an Un-Limited package, however over the last 2 years my subscription has raised by 50%. My site kept being moved to different server without warning, I often lost email connectivity sometimes for upto three days at a time. As for customer service, after raising tickets you can expect anything unto 72 hours for a response. “Avoid unless you want to be ripped off”

I setup a website for a charity and after the charity moved the domain name away apparently a hosting renewal notice was sent to me (which I have never found) and, because I did not respond, I was charged a renewal fee by default. They refused to refund this even though hosting was useless without a domain name which they actually admitted. They hold your credit card details and if renew things by default. “You cannot deal with people on the other side of the...”

They cut you off without warning! The first time the excuse was they had the wrong contact details which I asked them to change and they said they did but actually did not I even gave my credit card details to prevent them not being paid on time.
