StreamlineNet (www.Streamline.net) took the money from my credit card and NEVER set up a website or gave any of the services I paid for. Then they were very difficult to communicate with, impossible to negotiate anything, refused to refund me. Started a bulk hosting account back in November of 2004 with StreamlineNet and discussed in detail my site before committing; I was assured they could provide a professional and efficient service.
Started getting strange MS Access problems around early December 2004 and it has continued to this day 12/06/2005.

Escape 95 signed up with Streamline when we decided to setup our website selling cheap LCD TVs. We wanted something which would be reliable and quick as well as cost effective. I signed up StreamlineNet (www.streamline.net) about two months ago, ordering the Power User account with a free UK domain which is a bonus. The account was setup active within 24 hours mainly due to the domain name being registering and configuring to the server.

I signed up to Streamline.Net around 1 year ago, swapping from my previous (bad and expensive) hosting company. The switch was very easy and I only suffered an=bout an hour of no e-mail.
I have not really had any issues with them around 6 months ago my site did go down but after contacting them they got back to me very quickely and all was back up.

Just had to post really as a reaction of the previous review. I have been on to Streamline's about us page. They do not in fact state anywhere that they host there own servers 'in house'. From what I can see he is a typical customer that signs up to a service, agrees to the companies terms and conditions and then when he breachs them wonders why his site has been suspended! Quickly: Streamline get their hosting through Fasthosts who have an abuse of terms and conditions. I advise that this is read and followed to the word. If you have a website with Streamline (or Fasthosts) your site cannot contain MP3's, any form of video file or offer anything to download. Hosting .zip files are also a no no. Well I have been with StreamlineNet (www.streamline.net) for a month now and once the small problems of account activation and Mysql, Sub-domain setup are out of the way, it seems to be running without too many hickups!
The server needs a reboot every now and again but what can you expect.

I have had an account with Streamline for just over a year and although in that time the site has only been down probably for a total of 1 day I have other issues with their service. When the time came for renewal I did not receive an invoice or a bill, in fact I did not get notification that I was being charged, and now that they have overcharged me (by a considerable amount) I am having horrendous problems getting that money back. My site had some pages which used ASP to connect to an Access database. These pages were down two-thirds of the time, showing a database connection error message. Streamlinenet technical support is provided by a help ticket system. I tried to get the problem resolved for 4 months via this ticket system before eventually giving up. StreamlineNet (www.Streamline.net) may be cheap, but the old saying "you get what you pay for" is certainly true in this case. Since setting up an account with them my website has averaged an uptime of less than 1.5 days; I have reported this to them several times and all I get is "An engineer will respond to you within 24 hours" (mostly untrue) or "This is probably due to connectivity problems, internet-wide issues, or it's a one-off problem that we are unable to replicate".

I ordered hosting from StreamlineNet (www.streamline.net) 5 days ago, StreamlineNet e-mailed me and apparently my card was rejected, fair enough I thought, I e-mailed StreamlineNet asking what I sould do about this...no reply, at all. StreamlineNet (www.streamline.net) is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Even a year after I cancelled my account they continued to charge me for a hosting account I don't have. They gave me someone else's private details, which still a year later I can use to access their website. They charged me more money instead of refunding money. They do not apparently have 24 hour customer support.
