We have just returned from a severn day stay at john fowler resort st ives. We had a fab experience. We stayed in number 147 a woodland budget challet, extremely good value for money. The challet and site was very clean, the challet was basic but contained every thing we needed for a enjoyable week. The surroundings of the park is extermely peaceful with plenty of space for children to play and explore, all staff were polite and ready to help. I can not accept or understand some of the bad… Read Full Review

John Fowler Holiday Village St. Ives provides a good economy holiday. The Chalet was clean and newly painted and had all the necessary equipment needed. It is a woodland park and has lots of wildlife to watch.
The Manager and staff were helpful and friendly. The pool was lovely and warm and there was a life guard on duty at all times. Unfortunately the Sauna and flume were not available to use and there are no lockers for belongings.
The club was friendly with enthusiastic entertainment staff… Read Full Review

Reading this site a week before we were due to go I decided not to show my wife the negative reviews and had my heart in my mouth as i pulled into the village. I was hoping our only holiday this year wouldn't be as bad as what I had read. My advice to people going is to ignore most of these reviews as we had an excellent time! My wife is a bit of a clean freak and the rooms were clean enough for her so I was happy. Everything under one roof, to cook full english's, chillis, currys and not to… Read Full Review

I have just come back from a 1 week holiday at St Ives Holiday Village with 2 adults and 5 children. I was in 2 minds to go after reading the reviews on the budget lodges. The accommodation was ideal for a base and the entertainment for the children was fantastic and at the end of the holiday every child received a freddy fox cuddly toy! Do not believe any of the reviews because I was really surprised, I have been to many different holiday parks and this was one of the best!!! I have already… Read Full Review

The St Ives holiday village was our given park as part of a sun holiday deal. Wasn't expecting much from a £9.50 holiday but OMG! The site is awful!! We were given the woodland wood hut but I almost felt like crying after seeing how basic, dirty and mouldy the hut was. After asking if we could move cabins we were told that the site was full. We enquirer with John Fowlers head quarters who told us there was plenty of spaces. Returning to te reception to enquire again another lady said there was… Read Full Review

Have Just got back from St Ives holiday Village i was expecting alot worse after reading the reviews. I stayed in the Trevacroft Chalet, which was well equipped, clean and tidy. I couldn't see any damp although there was a hint of a smell of damp in the lounge area although i think you can expect that as they are located in the woods. Plenty of hot water from the shower and no smell of damp on the bathroom. The surroundings are quite pleasant and the holiday park location is a good.

We've stayed at St Ives Holiday Village twice so far this year (we've booked again for the October half term) and our Trevacroft accomodation was fine, clean, dry and warm.
The bathrooms were a little small but were clean and smelled fresh. The hot water did take a little while to come through but there was plenty of it.
The kitchen in the Trevacroft Chalets we stayed in was well equipped and clean, there was a lovely new flat screen DVD TV combo to watch in the living area although… Read Full Review
