    Travel City Direct was a good company when compared to First Choice and others like that. I stayed in Florida during Hurricane Francis and they sorted out the accommodation and car stuff for us. The only problem back then was when returning Sanford airport was useless.

    Have travel with TCD for 12 years, with only one delay. We landed last Sunday and are very sad they have gone into administration. Come on XL I hope you can relaunch the business in the next year or two!!!!!!

    Went to Thomas cook yesterday and rebooked our holiday to Florida for in 3 weeks time that we originally had booked with Travel City Direct.     We now have booked with Thomsons who have sorted out a new holiday as we were thankfully atol protected. Their level of expertise was fantastic and what a difference being face to face. Next time Thomsons will be getting my money

    We learnt our lesson going to the sunshine state in August. After storm Faye and hurricane Gustav I think it is far better in the winter months but the weather cant ever be relied on where you go. I am very sad that I can no longer travel with travel city direct

    Really disappointed to here they have gone into administration as they were a brilliant travel company.     Since XL took over Travel City, I think the standard has dropped dramatically.
