Took Alliance & Leicester Business Bank Account almost 2months to reject my application without any reasoning why. This was before the excessive amount of time spent trying to apply for the damn thing... Glad they rejected based upon others' comments...

Unable to open an account for 20-25 working days. Thats 4 to 5 weeks in the 21st century, because, 'they have to do so many checks on Ltd companies'. I cancelled my application as my business would have gone bust before it even started with them. Nat West managed to open an account within 48 hours. ...

Overall I have been with them for 3 years and apart from a few hiccups re canceling things etc I have always had my cards sent on time, no wait for setting up and free business banking as promised.

Very hard to use as it is set up for a large corporate system with lots of people doing lots of different jobs.
e.g You need a Cash Deposit card to pay cash in ,but all so need a separate Cash card to take money out.
Same for Paying Cheques , 2 books , 1 to pay in 1 to take out.
Just can not ...
