“Holes in clothes”

My brother bought me a pair of pyjamas from next as a gift for Christmas, I have worn the pyjamas two nights and have noticed holes forming in the pyjama bottoms. Since sewing the holes I have now noticed a further 3 holes formed in the pyjamas. The quality is awful for the price my brother paid, unfortunately as I tried to fix the pyjamas I feel I won't be able to return.

“girls age 6 clothing”

I wanted to buy a nice dress for my daughter the styles are horrible for that age group and are getting worse for this age group too trendy!!

“Shocking designs and colours”

What has happened to Next? I used to love your products but now leave your store depressed by the muddy,dull colours and shapeless clothes. My friends have als commented saying they have seen better looking clothes in charity shops. I can't even buy clothes for my grandchildren and again can't understand why pale pink baby girl clothes now come in a shade reminiscent of a wash that has had colour run. So disappointing. Please change your designers and give us some normal clothes without frills, sparkle,awful patterns and in colours we can identify. I wouldn't take your clothes if they were offered free!

“Shockingly BAD From start to finish still dont have My...”

Nothing is priced (Home) or what colours it comes in, place order which they get wrong, call customer care (Which is a joke) 1 40 min on hold, nothing sorted out, finally get through and they cant help, then change our order to something else, call customer care and again another 1 hour on hold, delivery comes and boxes are missing and cannot tell us when we will get the rest CURRENTLY HAVE NO BED TO SLEEP ON, AVOID THIS TERRIBLE UNORGANISED JOKE OF A COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

awful interface and glitchy "nextpay" wouldn't work. Spend over £100 and still pay £4 postage? Poor compared to competitors.

“Dirty Shirt with a cheaper price tag”

I placed an order earlier this week for a shirt for myself and a pair of shoes for my daughter, the items were collect yesterday and whilst the shoes were fine I had a couple of issues with the shirt. Firstly I paid £24 for it but when it arrived it had a tag showing it was only £22, not a huge difference but a difference nonetheless. The more concerning issue for me was that not only was the collar of the shirt dirty there was also a black mark on the shirt. Certainly not what o expect from Next and will think twice before ordering online with them again.

“The worst online shopping experience of my entire life”

GENUINELY THE WORST - I ordered a gift card online as a Christmas present. The next day I was called and told that I needed to give my date of birth in order to complete the order. Having already paid by credit card I found this strange, and said I did not want an account. They said they would cancel the account after this purchase. I then emailed Next to give them some feedback about their system which I found ridiculous. Their response to the criticism was to ask for my date of birth, they cannot discuss customer experience without it apparently. A week later, when the gift card had not arrived I telephoned, spoke to approximately 400 people (this may be an exaggeration), each one of whom wanted my date of birth ,my shoe size, inside leg and every address I have lived at since birth. It turns out that they had taken my money but had not sent out the gift card and in order to refund me they now needed my bank details. UNBE-F******-LIEVABLE!!!!!!! To be honest I could have lived with it all if the customer service and attitude were anything other than unhelpful and rude. They clearly do not value their customers at all.

“Pleased with service”

I ordered a dining table, and when it came into stock ready for delivery, Next happily held it for weeks until we moved house, for our convenience so we didn't have to move it twice. A small gesture that is greatly appreciated when under stress and receiving poor service from many other companies & services you rely on when moving house! We were very pleased.

“pathetic designs”

This company used to have amazing clothes designs many years ago. However the current fashion is not only out of date, gloomy old fashion designs and no innovation or creativity has been presented in fashion industry in the last 2-3 years. All the clotes are basically of casual boring colours and designs, they all look like they have been taken out of the washing machine and hung on the shop shelves. The designs remind me of garments from 30-40 years ago. The fabrics are of terrible quality, after one wash they might be as well thrown into the bustbin. The models presenting NEXT fashion industry clothes are stunning, all international glamorous girls. Despite all garments being presented by slim and beautiful girls, they look very boring and colourless. What a pity, I really used to buy many garments in the past years from NEXT, but at present I would not be tempted to spend any more money - it would be a waste. The cardigan I bought was an awful quality cheap garment, just threw it in the dustbin after two washes.

“Speedy service and very helpful”

I live in France; forget what you may have heard about French Chic because the reality is that there is very expensive and there is nylon rubbish with bling and no 'mid-way range' shops like Next. So, online shopping has been a joy. On the whole, the sizing has been constant and the quality good. When I did have a problem the response was immediate and more than satisfactory. Best of all, the speed of delivery. If I order before 11 am, weekdays English time, my parcel arrives before 3 pm French time the following day with full tracking supplied. I can't fault it.

“Excellent customer service”

I bought a pack of 3 pyjamas at Christmas for my son to wear when he was a bit older (9-12 months). When my son was old/big enough to wear them, I found the bottoms to be really tight. After 6 months, I didn't have the reciept but I emailed them anyway just to let them know. They replied asking for the pyjamas to be sent back to be analysed which I did. I was reimbursed the postage and the money I had paid for the pyjamas. I later got a letter saying they agreed the bottoms were smaller than they should be and gave me £15. I have to say I'm really impressed with the customer care. They were excellent throughout. I certainly didn't expect anything from them since I had bought the clothes 6 months previous and had not kept the reciept. I don't give 5 stars purely because some of their clothes wash well and others don't. It's a bit of a gamble. But the customer service I have received was exceptional...thank you!

“Online shopping”

Love shopping with next especially online. The next day delivery never disappoints. Quality clothing at reasonable prices. Wish they had a online sale in Ireland. I would recommend this shop to family and friends.

“Don't blame the staff”

They have just had the little extra they got on a Sunday taken off them. If they come in 5 minutes late they can get pay taken from them.But if they can't leave until 15 minutes over their time,they got nothing. In most cases you have to work Boxing day starting at 5am so no drinking on xmas day.Plus the chairman has just hinted in a news paper article minimum wage is enough to live on.Does he? Would you work for this company?

“Presents not welcome for returns without a gift receipt ”

My daughter recently gave birth and had to return a few baby items bought for her because her baby was tiny. Next REFUSED to take them back because she didn't have a gift receipt. She only had the option of exchange, we pointed out that they did not sell clothes small enough to fit the baby but it made no difference. We asked for a credit note but once again this was refused, or maybe a gift voucher but was told NO. TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH THEIR POLICIES AND WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT NEXT AGAIN. BE WARNED

“shrinking clothes”
