I ordered an item after waiting for so long for the right size to arrive . When the size came , I ordered it along with two other small items. When the package arrived only the small items were there and that major item of my interest was missing . Called ASDA George many times . That absurd music keeps going on . Was on the line for more than half an hour. Made several calls but nobody answered. That’s a shame ! Such a giant and doing this to their customers . Never gonna order again from George ASDA .

Ordered a birthday gift for delivery on 29th August. On the morning it is due, they email saying it won't arrive on time and will take upto 3 days. It's now the 31st August and I have missed the birthday and there is no update at all about my order with no way to contact customer services. Very poor.

I have shopped at George for about 30 years rarely buying from anywhere else, since 2021 the clothing on sale has no choice whatsoever for the slightly older woman. Why are they no longer able to do both? I have now swapped to TU clothing as I find they still provide for the smart casual look.

Went today to my local Asda George store bought a fabulous winter coat . Fits o perfectly and I love it. Great length and a nice big hood great deep pockets on front. Easy zipper love this coat. More than worth the money lovely color too. In fact George clothing has great jumpers dresses, trousers, nightwear etc. Well worth a look good prices as well. Not cheap rubbish clothing , really quality and very well made. Am glad i went in store as i was not sure of the sizing as am a 12 but I bought the medium to give me a bit of space when wearing . Great elastic sleeves at bottom so no rain etc running down your arm. Cannot say enough great things about this coat. For 40 pounds its a steal. You will not be disappointed with this coat. It’s very true to size so if your a small 10/12 or 12 medium will be perfect if your larger 14/16 you will need the large .

ordered 2 roasting trays as the size given on the website was perfect. When they arrived they were far bigger. I informed customer services and 14 emails later trying to get them to understand. They are now sending me 2 more of the same ones? Why?. I have requested a complaint opened 4 times and still not acknowledged.

Dangerous disney mickey mouse tug toy… Recently purchased black Disney mickey mouse tug pet toy. You get what you pay for this dog toy looks a bargain sturdy rope and super cute if Disney fan, until your pup chews it's ears apart too find covered in plastic cellophane!!!! Very alarming customer services refused too investigate as I did not have product label/packaging or reciept. Something I did not think I would need to keep given the toy looked good on outside. I left a review on product to have it removed, three times have reworded it keeping too the facts and giving my opinion on the good and bad about product and every time it does not get authorised. Clearly are not concerned that their product is faulty and don't want people to stop purchasing or warn people who have purchased that if they have a pup who chews don't give them this toy or could choke on plastic. Other people I know checked there dogs toy to find exactly the same inside but asda Clearly happy with having a dangerous product. The fact it is clear they don't care and reviews are always good on products as they ban any negative reviews. I posted on social media and got message with a u turn to take item in store so can investigate but given they keep removing my review on the product I doubt very much this will be investigated, trading standards on other hand were very interested. If you purchased this for your pet bin it. Shame on asda appalling!!!

Before the takeover used Asda george religiously. Always being spoilt for choice ..Now women of a certain age are being ostracised ! ..Disney emblems mini dresses & In the style of, seem to now be the norm ..Disappointed to say the least..

George have some fantastic clothes which wear really well and are great quality. I bought a winter coat a few years ago which is still my absolute favourite and which still looks like new today. The prices are brilliant for the style and quality.I've just bought two dresses in the sale which are less than half price and are very stylish.

I like the quality of the ladies PJ's at Asda but the sizing is rediculous the trouser bottoms to the PJ's are great always the correct size but all or most of the tops to the pj sets are always smaller than the size they should be such had a size 20/22 the bottoms yes correct size but the tops match up to a size 16/18 width and length I would appreciate some think done about this because it's a waste of money and bad practice

I ordered items and paid for them to be delivered on a nominated day which was Thursday 6th August. The items i bought where to be used for a funeral on Friday 7th August (someone i haven't seen for months due to covid19. On 6th August (the day i paid to recieve the items) i recieved an email to say my items would NOT be delivered on my nominated day. I phoned Asda George and spoke to someone and i had to ask the man on the phone 6 times could i speak to a manager, finally i got someone but soon found out it wasn't a manager but a Supervisor, i then asked the Supervisor to put me on the phone to a manager. Finally i got a manager on the phone. I was on the phone for over 1 hour and 50 minutes and spoke to 3 people. I didn't get anywhere with them, after all that time on the phone i was told i would get a call at 8am on Friday 7th, i didn't recieve a call so i phoned them myself and spent another 40 minutes on the phone (so altogether nearly 3 hours in 2 days) to be told i would recieve my parcel today (which is too late). I was offered my delivery charge back on the Thursday and the was told the same thing on the Friday. They offered me £10 E-voucher to use online at George but after all i have been through with the calls and the stress and upset this has caused and i felt like they just didn't care what had happened. I will NOT shop at George again if this is how they treat their customers! It is disgusting!!!

After making an online order for a barbecue .... and paying in full for it including a delivery charge , they then asked me a date which i required delivery which i chose They then texted me 16 times !!!! To say it would be delivered between 06.30 and 08.30 so i took the day off work to accept delivery . This delivery never showed up and ive so far been waiting on the phone for over an hour to speak to somebody . Do yourself a favour and do not use this company they are a shambles

I would give 0 star. Awful service! I ordered 4 chairs. Paid extra for next day delivery service for Saturday. I took an off day to be able to receive it. I got from yodel 3 messages that my items are on the way. Nothing all day. No tracking number even sent to me! 9 pm I called customer service. I ask about the tracking number. The person gave me the numbers and also told me that the chairs will be delivered on Monday. How is possible? So I should take another day off to able to receive my items? I am just loosing with you guys! Made me so angry and mad because I really liked that chairs but I just cancelled the order. Customer service person didn't even offered for me a voucher, nothing. Not happy at all! Be careful with them! Even the person on the phone told me that they knew about this and they will advice for customers to do not order for the weekend delivery service... really? When? Just zero stars...

I have ordered a couple of items lately to click and collect from my local store. On both orders was told they would be ready for collection no later than 5pm. For both orders l received the email with collection number at 7.50pm. I appreciate it is sale time but them that information needs to be adjusted. If you are wanting your goods when they say they will be in you are going to be disappointed. Not sure now when l can collect my parcel as they are only holding it for 3 days

Ordered 2 Roller Blinds on line from Asda Direct, took a week to come. One blind was the incorrect width, bit of a pain, phoned customer services and told replacement was on its way. Came 3 days later but still wrong size again! Another phone call, again replacement on its way. Delivered today, another 3 day wait and guess what size again. Even they have given up and are refunding price of the blind, unfortunately I put the other up and am now faced with trying to match that blind. Thanks Asda needless to say won't be using your on lone services again 15th May 2019.

My husband bought me this beautiful jumper that is so supersoft, elegant and warm. There are so many ways to dress it up and look smart whilst keeping warm during wintertime. I love this shade of navy which will go with so much and the fact it's so supersoft but not itchy. Added to all this the price is so good and affordable. It's perfect in every aspect. Thank you George at asda for a great item of clothing that will also last a long time if looked after. Thanking you kindly

I don't know what has happened to George clothing its always been cheap and cheerful, but not bad quality, but lately the clothing is a disgrace. Long dresses made for people at least 6ft tall, trousers are the same. I am 5ft 6 even short length were too long. Waste of time. Tesco is a little more expensive for clothing but far better quality

I think things must have changed since your review. I am 62 and bought a lovely midi-dress (I'm size 14 so NOT stick-thin - and only 5ft 4" tall!). I wore it out last Saturday evening and had loads of compliments on it! They couldn't believe it was only £26!

I puchased a bebe swivel baby high chair in the last george baby event to put away for my daughter who at the time was only a few weeks old...it was on sale so I thought I may as well save some money, I'm going to need it eventually. At my mother and baby club I spoke with a few mums about the chair and they advised against using this model, informing me of how un safe it was and telling me about two personal experiences with this chair. I was seriously concerned. I then did some further research into this model and came across a vast amount of negative reviews and feedback from other concerend parents stating how the plastic is sharp and jagged on the tray. How the chair collapsed on one mother and her baby was rushed to A&E after falling to the ground and a result experienced a head injury and other parents stating that the harness is not secure and many pleding for the item to be recalled and full health and safety checks repeated. As a concerned parent I contacted George both via email and telephone call. I attached some of the reviews and asked them to please look into this as the item is not fit for purpose and poses a serious health and safety risk to babies I asked if I could please exchange mine for another model but they refused as it was outside of their warranty period even though under the consumer goods act if the item is unsafe they are obliged to exchange it. I spoke with two managers and one even asked me why would you purchase this so early, why have you not used it? maybe you should try it out and see even after I told him how dangerous this was. I was appaulled at the total lack of knowledge in the sales of good act and customer service. I have to say that George is the worst company for customer service I have EVER come across in my entire life, Mr Clarke should seriously look into making many improvements within this area. Many of us parents are getting together now to contact trading standards and offcom regulations, in the hope to get the word out there and to prevent any further dangerous occurring to babies with the use of this poorly manufactured high chair.

ordered 2x pudsey leggings and 2x Pudsey jumpers for my girls, got message from asda saying order on way, got message from my hermes (via outlook) saying order with courier, and order been put though letterbox...(no order put through letterbox or calling card) so phoned up customer services to chase it up....only to be told order had been cancelled but they still took my money a few days previous...sort it out asda, I wont be shopping with you again.... I just hope my refund goes back in as quick as it came out.

Ordered the item from Asda.com and paid for a named day delivery. Having spent 3/4 of that named day waiting and checking the Yodel site for updates, finally called Asda, was told that it wouldn't be being delivered and something had gone wrong. Refunded the cost of the named delivery day. Next day still no different. Rang again to be told that the items paperwork was with Yodel but not the item - Great. Give it another 24hrs I'm told. Again having called 4 times the following evening and being cut off 3 out of 4 times; spoke to someone that said they would raise a query. When pushed they said they would ring Yodel. Then cut off again. I have no idea when this will be delivered if at all. Quite possible the worst online shopping ever. Quite frankly I can't see how a big company like Asda can muck this up so badly. Appears all the other reviewers are right.

Ordered an item to be collected from Andover store. Arrangements here were unfriendly and disorganised, and I had to pay £1 parking for the privilege. The item concerned was poorly made and broke within a year. Returning the item was even more of a struggle. I was bounced from one desk to another over two floors and eventually when I found a disinterested store assistant, at the correct area, I was told that the item had to be correctly wrapped although I had the paperwork. Another £1 parking. I returned home, wrapped the item and used the return sticker to post from the Post Office. No prepaid post so the postage cost £2.85. The return so far has cost me £4.85, excluding petrol. I wonder if I will ever be reimbursed. What a ghastly experience and I will never use George at Asda again, and advise others to avoid.
