“BAD ATTITUDE”

On reaching the checkout queues at Sainsbury Tewkesbury Road today, there were only 4 open for trolley shoppers and each checkout had at least 4 people waiting with LOADED trolleys. I said to a passing member of staff, 'This is awful - can't someone put more staff out - it will take ages to get served'. She ignored me totally. “Dreadful online experience”

I have always been a big fan of Sainsbury's, ranking it no.1 for the high-st UK supermarkets. However, I recently used their online shopping service and had an awful experience. “Very disappointed with the delivery service”

I've ordered groceries online from Sainsburys and other suppliers before and never encountered bad attitude like this before. There were 2 delivery men and they quickly pointed out that they wouldn't bring the bags higher than 1st floor, even though my flat is on the 2nd floor. You can't blame the driver for you not reading the terms and conditions in the first place. If you have read them, you wouldve phoned up and made them aware, then the driver might get permission to do the delivery.

Without permission, if they get injured - they will not get paid. So I don't blame them for not wanting to come up the extra floor, they don't get paid enough as it is.

“Sainsburys Jubilee Family Festival Ballot??”

I spent over £60.00 at Forestside Sainsburys and got a ballot ticket for the Hyde Park Family Festival. “Overpriced & understaffed.”

I live very close to the new Sainsbury's superstore in North Manchester. Apparently the store was built at a cost of £25 million.Since the new store has opened,the prices of most goods have increased dramatically. “Ok for groceries but avoid fruit, meat and prewrapped fish”

I use the large Streatham Sainsbury regularly mainly out of convenience and spend about £5000 a year there. As we all know, prices have gone up a lot in the last year and the same amount of money buys a lot less. Sainsbury meat contains a lot of water. The mince is pretty dreadful. Try frying it and get a pan full of water. Strain it, and start frying it all over again. The basic bacon is similar. I guess they are both 50% added water. “Online grocery shopping service extremely poor”

i have used Sainsbury's online delivery service on a few occassion now. on two of these occassions i purposefully bought items as part of their 'deals' but when I received these one item was not available. Instead of giving me another item that was similar from the deal they always give me something which is not, and which is more money. Ring the local "big" store directly, see if they are the ones that deliver to you. Ask to speak to the online manager directly, if they don't help, then demand the attention of the store manager.

I'm surprised the call centre doesn't help, usually they sort out a refund for you pretty quickly - though I don't like it when it comes as a voucher instead of money back.

i ordered a chair to be delivered for a room i was decorating. Wanted the room complete as a surprise for someones' return from holiday, so ordered and paid £5 for specific delivery time...7-12pm on a Friday. “Dreadful Customer Services ”

Customer services? They don't know understand the concept at Sainsbury's. I had a health assessment in the store and was told to meet the assessor at the customer services counter. I reported on time and was told to wait. Customer services was busy but that was no excuse for no one getting back to me to let me know what was going on. I'm an online driver for Sainbury's. We get 6 minutes allocated to complete most customer's delivery. Your drive is blocked for SIX WHOLE MINUTES?! What a catastrophic impact this must have on your life. Next time it happens, you should call 999.

24 hours a day and you are worried about a delivery van who won't be there for very long blocking your drive for a little while.

Clearly you live on a road that is very difficult to park, maybe the van should park in the middle of the road near your "space" and when the entire street moans the driver will point the finger at you for moaning the van borrowing the space for a few minutes.

By the way, you don't own the road pass your drive.

“What's happened to Sainsburys?”

I used to love Sainsburys. It was the only place I'd shop and I'd actually shop there happily. But this last year it has gotten so bad both in service and quality! “On line shopping, what a rip off”

Ordered and checked out on Monday night, purchased 6 bottles of wine, all on buy 2 for £10, 2 bottles of spirits, both on offer for £14. Arranged for delivery Thursday on check out.
