“Great for online shopping”

I do my weekly shop online at sainsbury's every week and they deliever. I've been doing this for about 6 years and I've never had any problems, I've had the ocasicall thing missing but when I call up to say they always deduct the price from my bill or send out a substitute. I love having my shopping basket with all my favorites in it as it saves me time and all in need to add is my weekly extras. “Terrible Company, Rude Staff and No Customer Care”

When I walk into Sainsbury's I feel demoralised. Compared to Tesco, Waitrose and the Co-operative there is just no care. They employ a large number of teenagers from my area (which is great) but the staff turnover is disgraceful, you see a new face every week. I look out for these things because I used to manage a store myself. “Best online service ever!”

I do not currently own a car and have got into the habit of doing my weekly shop online. I use mysupermarket to compile my shopping list and find the best deals and overall price and then order accordingly. Now overall my shop always seems to be cheaper from Asda, however the quality of the fresh food and delivery service are not that great so I tried Saisniburys out. “Sainsbury's Misleading Offers=Hoodwinking!”

Sainsbury's apricot wheats cereal have been sold for £1.50 for several weeks and today back up to £1.99 a 32% increase, so much for inflation coming down, more like profiteering, but Sainsbury's like Tesco think customers are daft and don't remember prices! “Disappointment with Online Shopping”

I was very disappointed with my forst and last experience of Online Shopping with Sainsbury's. I ordered the meat offer of £10 for 3. One of the items was unavailable, so they substituted this with a product, twice the size, and £4 more. and when I stated I did not want such a large substitute, it was removed, and therefore I lost the offer, and ended up paying more. for the two items. “One word for Sainsbury's i.e. DIRE!”

I have shopped at Sainsbury's for years. Yesterday I went to the deli counter for some sun blush tomotoes. The young man there was lovely I must say. As there the product I wanted wasn't displayed, he went off to see if he could find it for me. He eventually returned (quite jovially which was great) as he had managed to find some for me. “Over priced”

Only shop in Sainsbury's Telford now and again but always disappointed, comparing similar items with Asda they are mainly more expensive. I try and avoid buying wine there as the offers are often misleading, bought a £10 bottle of red recently reduced to £5 and it would have been pushing it to class it as a house wine. “Disappearing items”

I have been using this branch for over 10 years. Over the last 6 months and more I have frustratingly been unable to purchase more and more of particular items that I used to buy regulary in this branch. My only alternative option is to use the on-line delivery website, as deliveries come from the Sydenham Savacentre site which is considerably larger and has a far larger range of items, but it is not economical to have to pay the ridiculous delivery charge for the sake of about 10 items… Read Full Review

“staff attitude deterioration”

I have shopped at Sainsbury Fulwell Sunderland for as many years even before it was Sainsbury but just lately I have found a change in the attitude of the staff - although I must admit there is an older lady who is so polite and friendly. “You don't pay what you get”

I live near Oxford and have been living in Norwich for few years, tried all supermarkets for more than dozen times, Sainsbury's food quality is among the worst and yet the most expensive. The meat, fruit, veg quality are so bad compare to Morrisons or even Tesco. Now I live in Oxford and where I live only have Sainsbury's it is so bad that I have to drive 12 miles more to Tesco to shop everytime. “BAD ATTITUDE”

On reaching the checkout queues at Sainsbury Tewkesbury Road today, there were only 4 open for trolley shoppers and each checkout had at least 4 people waiting with LOADED trolleys. I've ordered groceries online from Sainsburys and other suppliers before and never encountered bad attitude like this before. There were 2 delivery men and they quickly pointed out that they wouldn't bring the bags higher than 1st floor, even though my flat is on the 2nd floor. You can't blame the driver for you not reading the terms and conditions in the first place. If you have read them, you wouldve phoned up and made them aware, then the driver might get permission to do the delivery.

Without permission, if they get injured - they will not get paid. So I don't blame them for not wanting to come up the extra floor, they don't get paid enough as it is.
