The Weirauch hw35 is a very powerful airgun with break barrel loading. The most powerful air gun available at a cheap price, it's well worth its money. I've had several airguns-none as good as this… Read Full Review

The Weihrauch HW35 air rifle is a good one. I have two airguns the hw57 and the hw35. I bought them in Germany where it's cheap. You can shoot 25 meters exactly. And the power is enough for that price… Read Full Review

How can the HW35 possibly be the best air-rifle in the world? Are you sane? The HW35 suffers from heavy recoil to the point where it loosen's the stock screws, like everytime you use it, shake's your scope to bits, accuracy is out of the window due to the recoil.
The stock scratchs so easy it looks old before its time.
The boring dated design sends you to sleep and after all that it costs £200.00!
Do yourself a favor and buy a BSA lightning for £155.00.

You don't trust German excellance? When it comes to making guns the German engineering is the best.

Buy a BSA Lightning. Yeah right. Cheap plastic one stage trigger, poor trigger design, screws also coming loose. Scope coming loose, hmm nothing beats iron sights, though.
So the BSA lightning isn't better than the HW35. The HW35 is build to last, outperforms the BSA Lightning in accuracy, trigger & craftship. That's the reason the HW35 is the best selling model from Weihrauch. Ask the 2 million owners. Loosening screws? It is inherent for every springer rifle. So buy a good screwdriver and voila.
Design old fashioned? It's a proven design nothing wrong with it. You like it or not. There is no middle.
I won't buy British. Rediculous expensive in the Netherlands and I don't like the designs.

If you say me where I can buy it or order it(cheap), I would look at it. The BSA Lightning could be good.

You can tune this gun normal=20 meters correct shooting or stronger spring=40-50 meters correct. I disagree. The Beeman/Weihrauch is a cheap, well made, powerful and accurate airgun.

Written on: 06/01/2002 by dazzle. (1 review written)

I purchased one of these Weihrauch HW35 E air rifles a number of years ago and I was not impressed by the performance of the air-rifle. I found it had terrible scope creep-a scope block is a must-due to the rather heavy recoil. The model I owned was an export. It had a very nice walnut stock, hand carved grips. I had purchased this rifle because I had heard they were excellent, but sadly I don't agree. I sold the weihrauch after about 5 months as it was not enjoyable to use… Read Full Review

strange comment as an hw 35 has arrestor holes in the rear of the scope rails / fitted with correct mounts scope creep is eliminated. I suggest you amatures try fitting a ptfe piston head and dampen the mainspring with agood quality grease to give devastating results
