I had a PF768, which I owned for a year, which got stolen and my insurance replaced it with the T18.
When using it for the first time, the T18 started to switch off by itself and when it was on it switched off whenever I opened the flip! Even my PH768 didn't do that, although I got it replaced 5 ...

I have my 3rd Ericsson T18. The previous 2 were send back to Ericsson. Switch off for no reason at all. Hope the 3rd one will give me joy at last.

The T18s is a heap of junk! Buttons need to be pressed several times before keypad responds, then several numbers show up at once! For SMS, the phone is a nightmare. Turns itself off for no apparent reason. SIM card becomes loose by itself (says "Insert Card"). It's only because this phone belo ...

This phone is nice. It just needs the message problems sorting out. I can only send x amount of text then the phone resorts to a foreign language.

Overall, not a bad phone. I've had one for around 6 months now and quite like it, except the hard button presses. I really like the active flip which means no more locking the keypad. It is also quite cheap, but I would say that Nokia's are better.

It is a good phone in some ways. Its not like a Nokia though. You cant read the picture messages like you can in SMS. Not much to do if your bored. If you have no money on your phone you'd be better off leaving it at home!

The battery life is fairly naff, lasts about 2 1/2 days if left on for 15 hours a day. The keypad is absolute rubbish, you have to press each letter/number really hard (a real pain when txting). Also the letters appear very slowly and seem to be constantly trying to keep up you as you type. And of c ...

When using chatboard, it takes forever to catch-up. I've replaced the cover after almost one year of usage.
