I've been using Dataflame for over 7 years. The service is great; price point is competitive but the real beauty of Dataflame is the 24/7 online support. The support is very responsive & provided you are patient, they will address a lot of problems you may have, even on the low cost shared servers. You also have a lot more freedom on their shared servers to adjust various settings (such as PHP, MX records etc) and if you cannot do it yourself, you can ask online support. Generally, the dataflame service runs just fine with no problems. But when there are problems (some of which are down to the user i.e. me!) the technical support guys are very efficient and very helpful in sorting things out. I input all the settings via the outline suggested by them for pop3 and smtp. Contacted DATAFLAME on another subject, resolved that issue and then advised of problem I was having with Microsoft support, microsoft were stumpted about why my emails would not send from microsoft mail in windows 8 . Microsoft wanted me to reinstall windows 8 such that I would lose all installed programmes. Microsoft suggestion to resolve was unacceptable.
