I have used dataflame for about 5 years now and hosted 6 web sites with them. The uptime is good and the user control panel both intuitive and powerful. I've been building and websites for many years now and have used various hosting providers. Whilst I will admit that DataFlame may not be the cheapest, their service and quality levels are beyond reproach. In the long run, it has saved me hours upon hours of lost time trying to resolve issues, server downtime (unheard of with dataflame) and so on. In the end they have saved me money. I have been using Dataflame for a good few years, and I have never had any problems with them. Their online chat support is excellent - always a response within 5 minutes, usually a lot sooner. The person at the other end always knows what they are talking about, and is always very happy to help - even when the query isn't strictly their problem. Pretty much all web hosts do the same thing, they host your website and take your money. When all is well you should not even notice your host. Your site should be live and your email coming through. The test of a hosting provider is when things go wrong. We've been with Dataflame for 12 months (ASP.NET Elite Package), and what an appalling hosting provider they are. Cheap? Yes, as for everything else, NO! The support team consists of Simon, Adam and so many other great English names, strange then that they struggle to string the simplest sentence together. They constantly fiddle with server settings and our website spends most of its life living as a 404 NOT FOUND error. Dataflame are a no-hassle low-cost provider. They are up almost all the time and when there are occasional problems they are quick to fix them, either by going through Chat or through email. Their PHP and MySQL versions are up to date. They have also been incredibly helpful over the years when I have needed them to install some esoteric piece of software such as IMagick or whatever.
