Sleek and light design, not bulky like some others. straightens my hair PERFECTLY and dose no damage and dosnt make my hair static coz its ceramic not metal. I guess it is a bit expensive but just think about it, a lower quality one you would have to replace earlier and you dont have to use as much product with this. plus if u get damaged hair you would have to pay to get it fixed. so it adds up around the same. GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners hair stylers are ace. :) (read more)

I bought these straighteners because I have fairly frizzy hair. I previously had some Remingtons cost around £30 and they did the job fairly well. My friend recommended ghds to me and everyone was raving about them so I gave them a try. They cost me £120 they straightened my hair exactly the same. Had them for 3 months they broke just stopped working at first, I was devastated. Like and idiot I threw away the tag that validates the 2 year guarantee so fair enough thats my fault.
But then... (read more)

Amazing straighteners. Used to take 20-30 minutes to straighten my hair and now it takes about 3 and it lasts all day! Only thing is, they took absolutely ages to arrive and so were a late Christmas present! (read more)

GHD straighteners are brilliant, they work perfectly - and if you know how to use straighteners well then you can get some great results with loads of versatility (Curls/Ringlets/Kinks never stayed in my hair when I used to use a curling iron - the heat of the GHDs lasts for ages)
The only bad thing is that I did end up spending over 100 in £30 compromises - promising to bring perfect results! But they really don't work as well, they aren't versatile and only get the same results as GHDs if... (read more)

I would recommend GHD straighteners to all. I think that they are fabulous because they can control my hair from being frizzy all day long. These straighteners actually work because they do the job, which is giving me straight and frizz free hair. (read more)

i feel that the GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners suck. i paid 240 dollars for the gift box thing and i thought i was going to be really good considering what i paid and what the girl at sephora told me, but they don't even straighten my hair properly. i'm going to work on giving them back. they aren't as good as i expected. better than conair or cheap brands like that i guess but not worth it in my opinion. GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners don't burn your hair, doesn't make hair look frizzy but you must remember to use a thermal heat protector spray or you may get heaps of split ends and damage your hair always brush after straightening with a comb and use hairspray so when you go outside it doesn't go kinky. just purchased the latest GHD model but don't find them as good as my old ones as they are quite loose. My old GHD's gripped hair tightly and left it much straighter with longer lasting results. (read more)

I found (as i have extremely wavy hair) i only needed to go over every strand once and it was dead straight and would stay that way for at least three days, it keeps my hair looking clean and shiny.
If you are thinking bout it but its a lot of money i would say 100% do it, it would be the most valuable thing you'll buy, totally worth it! (read more)

I had tried soooo......many other brands before GHD and have to say I would buy GHD for life now. For polka straight hair there is no other straightener like GHD!
They cost a lot but are worth the price although I would like them to design a portable model. (read more)

GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners are a brilliant product as the technology is bang up to date. High quality ceramic based plates that heat up in seconds and are incredibly smooth.
I recently used another brand that did last 6 years, but they did pull on the ends of my hair. I also had to go over my hair too many times with the old ones as they didn't do the job first time.
Unlike the new GHD tool. They straighten first time, every time. So no drying your hair out. The sleek look... (read more)

I've had my GHD's for ages now they are fantastic, I only have to go over the hair once to avoid burning it like you can with other straighteners which you have to keep going over and over your hair with. They are expensive but I think they are worth it. My hair is left shiny and feels soft. My sister has got quite thin hair and she says they are too hot for her hair but for me they are great. All my friends use them. (read more)

Having very thick hair i rely on my straighteners to tame my mane! GHDs are definitely the best in the market.
I did own a pair of the old style ones which had a reputation of being unpredictable...sadly they did break after 2 years BUT i bought a new pair and GHd have set the pace with their new models. They bleep when turned on, bleep twice when ready and even turn themselves off when they havn't been used in a while...
They are a slightly altered shape to the old model which makes them... (read more)

I love GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners, I've had them for nearly two years now and they are still working just as good as the first day i had them. They look good aswell. They are a very high price for what they are but i think that is just because of the brand.
I LOVE MY GHDS! (read more)

I owned a pair of Remington Wet 2 Straight wide plate straighteners, which straightened my hair beautifully and made it lovely and smooth, with flat hair and straightness that lasted until my hair got wet through. When these straighteners died, I decided to buy a pair of GHDs - apparently the 'best straighteners on the market' - so I'd heard. So I went for the GHD MK4 salon-style, with a wide plate (as I have got long, curly, thick hair).
My first impressions of the GHDs were good - nice... (read more)
