I just ordered a GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners today after having my salon use one on my hair yesterday. It pretty much sold itself!!! I went to get a hair cut and my stylist straightened my hair first and then was going to dry cut it. After he straightened it, which took NO time at all, it looked so professional sleek and perfectly straightened my trouble spots that don't straighten with my cheap conair one, I almost wanted to tell him not to cut my hair because it looked so… Read Full Review

As already said, I have thick, curly hair. It took over an hour and a half to straighten with my old remmington straighteners. Now I can do it before I go to school, without getting up at about 5am.
GHD's make my hair so shiny. When I used to use them every day (I'm a recovering straightening addict, who now prefers her hair curly) it didn't damage my hair. However, GHD protection spray seemed to make my hair really dry. I used Paul Mitchell, but other cheap ones work well. I used them to curl… Read Full Review

The GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners should only be used for straightening. If you want to curl with it the only way you could get good results is to get someone else to do it. Its not practical to do it yourself and its much quicker to use hair curlers. The heat also seems to fade if you leave it on for a certain time. It takes me too long to curl with this. Even though I have figured out how to do it, the curl is not as good as rollers and very time consuming. You might as well… Read Full Review

I got GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners for christmas - they are amazing :) I have really thick hair, but it straightens it so well. You can also use them to creates curls and flicks etc. Some people say they damage your hair, but as long as you use heat protection it shouldnt. they dont for me anyway.
I reccomend them to anyone :)… Read Full Review

GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners are light weight, heats up quick, easy to straighten and lasts whole day.. I was a little hesistant to pay that money for a straightener, but let me tell you, it was worth every penny spent...the result is just gorgous, long lasting, silky smooth straight hair. so beautiful. Since my hair is long and frizz prone, I wanted a good straightener to keep it staight whole day. My previous straightener just woudnt do the job. even if it was straight it… Read Full Review

I have very curly hair (I am mixed) with about 3 different textures in my hair. Ultra tight curls underneath, a patch of really dry textured hair, and then the rest is soft tight curls. My hair looks like a dream when I'm done.
It is very important that your hair is washed, and then blown out (roundbrushes are good). I use an Ion dryer, and the end result is amazing.
I don't use any of the ghd styling products as I have heard that they are not too amazing. I use a handful of products from… Read Full Review

The GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners are great when you first get them, small and easy to use. Mine have broken. I got mine fixed (the wire had broken) - but before they broke, and now, they don't heat up to nearly the temperature they originally did - and I am now looking to buy another brand. They no longer straighten my hair. Far too expensive for the life time of the product… Read Full Review

Sleek and light design, not bulky like some others. straightens my hair PERFECTLY and dose no damage and dosnt make my hair static coz its ceramic not metal. I guess it is a bit expensive but just think about it, a lower quality one you would have to replace earlier and you dont have to use as much product with this. plus if u get damaged hair you would have to pay to get it fixed. so it adds up around the same. GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners hair stylers are ace. :)… Read Full Review

I bought these straighteners because I have fairly frizzy hair. I previously had some Remingtons cost around £30 and they did the job fairly well. My friend recommended ghds to me and everyone was raving about them so I gave them a try. They cost me £120 they straightened my hair exactly the same. Had them for 3 months they broke just stopped working at first, I was devastated. Like and idiot I threw away the tag that validates the 2 year guarantee so fair enough thats my fault.
But then… Read Full Review

GHD straighteners are brilliant, they work perfectly - and if you know how to use straighteners well then you can get some great results with loads of versatility (Curls/Ringlets/Kinks never stayed in my hair when I used to use a curling iron - the heat of the GHDs lasts for ages)
The only bad thing is that I did end up spending over 100 in £30 compromises - promising to bring perfect results! But they really don't work as well, they aren't versatile and only get the same results as GHDs if… Read Full Review

I would recommend GHD straighteners to all. I think that they are fabulous because they can control my hair from being frizzy all day long. These straighteners actually work because they do the job, which is giving me straight and frizz free hair… Read Full Review

i feel that the GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners suck. i paid 240 dollars for the gift box thing and i thought i was going to be really good considering what i paid and what the girl at sephora told me, but they don't even straighten my hair properly. i'm going to work on giving them back. they aren't as good as i expected. better than conair or cheap brands like that i guess but not worth it in my opinion… Read Full Review

GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners don't burn your hair, doesn't make hair look frizzy but you must remember to use a thermal heat protector spray or you may get heaps of split ends and damage your hair always brush after straightening with a comb and use hairspray so when you go outside it doesn't go kinky… Read Full Review

I found (as i have extremely wavy hair) i only needed to go over every strand once and it was dead straight and would stay that way for at least three days, it keeps my hair looking clean and shiny.
If you are thinking bout it but its a lot of money i would say 100% do it, it would be the most valuable thing you'll buy, totally worth it!… Read Full Review
