After 30 years, 7M miles and 3.2 AIS miles I have had enough, EXP means nothing anymore. Concierge Key? Don't make me laugh. I have recently started moving my bus to jet blue ( 170K miles a year ) and have found what I was missing at AA--a model that works and people who actually care. “beyond frustratingly horrible!”

have been trying for two weeks to speak to an actual person to so i can get the advantage points that are owed to me from previous travel. Finally got one person on the line and they immediately transferred me to another line that was closed for the day. I have been on hold for over 5 hours total and still have not had my issue resolved. I am furious! “WORST AIRLINE EVER”

I have finally separated myself from the idea of getting a better deal when it comes to $$. After experiencing AA for years, it never seized to amaze me how much this airline sucked. I went thru so much, I cant even begin to explain it here.. Maybe just a few words about HOW rude, disrespectful, abusive and plain obnoxious aholes they have as flight attendants. “Poor”

Horrible quality of flight. Flew from Miami to Paris. Had booked BA but got stuck on the AA partner flight. Never flown a long haul that had no head rest monitors, no headphones or by purchase and with the space was non existant. Shocking experience, I have flown on 3rd world country national airliners with better service and experience than AA. I would never fly thins aircraft again. “No Pilot Available”

LGA-ATL For an established airlines around for many years it is extremely disappointing that after waiting in a cold terminal for 5 hours with 2 young children our flight was cancelled due to staffing issues! No pilot available to fly a completely booked flight is unbelievable and unacceptable. The flight was scheduled to leave at 8:20pm. “Surliest flight attendant ever”

On my flight from Dallas to San Antonio, I met the snottiest flight attendant I have ever encountered in 30 years of flying. In response to my question "Do you have cream?" After she set a cup of black coffee in front of me, she snarled and yelled loudly enough to be heard a few rows in both directions, "yes if you ask, but you gotta ask. 8 can't read your mind!" “Worse than Air India .... infact worst Airline in the...”

I have recently traveled America and had to endure 4 flights with American Airlines due to the One World Affiliation ..... worst airline in the world .. lip service bored back chat and chewing gum chewed in popped in my face! every flight had our entire group seperated all over the place and once we were told the flight was full and possibly some of our party may not get onboard. “Cold and very unfriendly categories of mammals”

I did have experience flying american airlines and the people work for AA are cold and heartless mammals. Flight attendants to all personnel included are bad mammals of the planet. When people went for interview as a dual language speaking person seeking position some people flew first class and given proper meals whereas older candidate were given coach seats and no food. “2013 New Year's Day fiasco”

Disgusted. Left Phoenix at 8:00 am and arrived in Dallas/Ft. Worth on time. We were then advised that the next flight to Nashville had been cancelled due to "mechanical" issues. AA "offered" up a 5pm to my husband, a 7pm to my daughter, and a 10 pm to me. How's that for customer service? We as well as many others were offered up nothing but lip service. “Ripoff”

We had first class tickets flying home from Hawaii. AA changed planes 2 hrs prior to take off and consequently did not have enough first class seats for those having tickets (no-one was allowed to sit in first class (that was fair). The issue is that we paid for one and used mileage pts for the others and what we received was business class. We spent an outrageous amt of money and points for first class and didn't receive it. “flight delay”

We were sent off the plane due to bad weather condition at destination. We need to make connection so went to the customer service, then were told there was nothing AA could do since it was weather condition. So why did they let us know before sending us to the customer service. “Worst Airline in America”

I arrived at LAX at 6:55am this morning for an 8am flight. I had checked in the night before, wasn’t checking bags, and had hoped to complete the historically simple task of printing my boarding pass at the airport. “Homeless in paradise”

“This was the worst flight experience ever. ”

My flight was delayed two hours because the crew had not arrived at the airport. The plane was there sitting for two hours with no one aboard or checking the plane. Once we boarded they discover the toilet is broken. The maintenance techs were on the plane 3 times. “Never again ever!”

Spent the night in the airport chairs thanks to their incompetence. Weather delays are one thing, but when they keep pushing your flight back a half hour at a time due to being short a flight attendant and lie to you about it it's another. “Not perfect,”

Flown over 2 million miles with American. Most flights have gone without a hitch always beware of changing your flight as it may cost a fortune - $150 plus whatever the cost is the day you make the change. The best mileage redemption program of any US airline. Many planes are past their prime. I have met disinterested flight attendants and gate attendants. “Takes Care of Handicaped”

“Do not Fly AA”

Stay away from them. AA has the worst service I've ever experienced. I booked several trips with them and events happened that caused me to shift 3 flights, two of them with AA. I booked each round trip flight for roughly $180. To change one flight, they wanted to charge me $250 in addition to my $180 between the same locations. It was less expensive to book a new flight ($101.) I then canceled my flight ($180) and recieved a credit for $30. (canceling costs $150). Mind you this is over three… Read Full Review
