“AA flights from London to Reno and back”

Me and my wife flew American Airlines from Heathrow to Reno in November 2013. I had trawled the market for the best prices with several internet search sites and came up with what I thought was British Airways, though then found it was AA (quite a few carriers are doing this- booking in through one airline and finding the actual carrier is another brand). “Your Flight changed for tomorrow.........what?!!!!”

That was the experience.... we arrive on time at IAH and when we were on the line to drop our luggage we noticed our flight was cancelled, we hoped there were a next flight to be booked, but not, your flight changed for tomorrow.... because of the weather and no more comments.... every other airline was flying but this one no... as a matter of fact only two flights from AA were cancelled, the other ones were scheduled... very strange.... “Really Bad Service. Rude People.”

This airline is pretty bad. I'm sitting here reading these reviews and most of them could have been written by me. On my trip to Oregon I encountered Delays resulting in missing my connecting flight, had to stay over in a Hotel, no one wanted to help, I and others that had to stay in a hotel. Got off the plane, was handed a Hotel voucher after waiting in line with everyone else that got screwed from the whole thing, we were told to "go downstairs to 15 and wait".....no other explanation. “Never again! Bad service and full of deciet!”

I was led on to purchase a passport in order to interview with this company. I'm unemployed at spent $135.00 to get to recruitment for this airline. The recruiter made it seem as if I was going to keep moving forward in the hiring process. Once I got to the recruitment day with passport in hand I was so fooled. Others that did not have a passport were in attendance but I was not selected and was out of $135.00! That is a lot of money to spend when you are unemployed. “Consistently Terrible Airline”

American Airlines - TERRIBLE!. I have to travel from a small airport using AA, as no other line is available. Of 5 flights over the course of a year, 3 were (very) delayed departures, 2 were cancelled. No instructions on how to arrange for other flights, no apologies. Connecting flights were no better, late arrivals, delayed departures, unannounced gate changes, lost baggage. Terrible, terrible company. “Worst Flight Experience”

We booked a flight from Texas to Ireland, I have gone on other airlines, this time I did AA. I WILL NEVER FLY with them again.We got pushed back from a 10:20 flight out, three times. Ended up leaving at 2:30 to DFW,then to London, where, by the time we got thru customs and security, we missed our connection to Ireland.They booked us out on a flight to Dublin, after a wait of another hour. “Rude employees at Dallas/Ft. Worth ”

09/23/2013 Landed in Dallas and had a 4hr. layover. In the process of looking for our gate we asked a young lady at an American gate, but she could not tell us how to get to ours. “Gate Closed 10 mins prior to departure”

“Horrible Service”

We flew American airlines in Aug 2013, it was the most horrible experience we have ever had flying. We flew in to Denver CO and found out that there were things missing from our bag that we had checked in. We contacted American air and they wrote up a claim and told me that someone would contact me in a few days to follow up. “slandered by airline staff”

On 9/9/13 while waiting for a connecting flight in dallas to sfo my name was called out by a member of aa staff(not a regular hostess as she was not in uniform) and in front of all the waiting passengers(the flight was delayed)she accused me of being drunk and disorderly on my incoming flight from lhr.I was flabbergasted as I drunk only water and tomatoes juice! “Lost not once but TWICE”

American Airlines lost our luggage on the way to our destination and on our way home. We had to spend extra money to buy toiletries for the first night of our trip. We were told someone would contact us once our luggage was found. After no call at 8:00 the next morning we contacted them only to be told that our luggage was found but that it could take up to 6 hrs for them to return it to us. “Filthy plane”

I'm just landed on flight #2017 to Dallas. I can't complain about the flight itself. The Captain has been very communicative and the flight was smooth. The flight attendants were not impressive and did not seem interested in making our flight more enjoyable. But my real beef is that this plane is just filthy! “FREEZING !!!”

Left just about on time, but the flight itself, from JFK to MCO was absolutely freezing, the AC was fully turned up I guess. The 'complimentary' soft drink was an absolute joke and was the smallest drink I have ever seen. No snacks, and they wanted 7 bucks for a Gin/Tonic . . . I don't think so. “worst flying experience”

fly any other airline - first a three hour delay and a multitude of excuses for the delay. first is was the bathroom - then we lost our spot - nerer get an honest story.
