“Worst airline out there ”

This airline is hands down the worst there is. To start it off, my friend and I woke up Christmas morning, (we were set to leave that night), to the airline having canceled our flight. My friend booked our tickets back in March and noticed several days later that money was only taken out of her account for my ticket, not hers. terrible experience, we ended up having to get out after 6 hours parked at the airport thinking we would take off anytime. TMI given, we knew that one engine was broken and that we were going to fly with that aircraft as there were no other left, "this is the only way home". “What a joke”

Flew American Airlines - apparently there are always problems with the WIFI, which was not working for the duration of my flight, as well as an underwhelming stock of food and beverages for purchase. They ran out of all food items and had limited snacks available, no premium wines left, etc. and the staff appeared to be equally as disappointed as all of the high paying customers on the flight. “My horrible experience ”

I had the worst experience flying. I booked my ticket months ago for very expensive. I came early to my flight. I went to board my flight and I was told that the seat that I had 10F was given to someone else. How does it even make sense that they wud give my seat to someone else and still have my seat in the ticket. When I booked my flight months ago I chose 10F as my seat. “Worst service ever. ”

My flight was cancelled due to bad weather. I saw several alternate flights and called to change my flight to one of those alternate flights. It was a two hour call wait time and when they finally answered they told me there were no flights even though I could book a flight on line on my computer they couldn't. “No concept of on-time arrival or departure”

Also, 5979 from LAX to Eugene, 12/28 Mesa, arrived 40 minutes late to LAX. As a result missed my flight 5979. Was rebooked from 12/27 but the time between 5629 and 5979 was barely sufficient if things went perfectly. Had to move between buildings 6 and 4 in LAX plus take a bus. Thus I missed my connection from LAX to EUG, which was only 40 minutes. This was rebooked by AA. Their system should know that departures are so far separated from arrivals at LAX. “AA ruins another Vacation trip”

Planned a short trip to St Maarten over the Christmas Holiday. Landed 3 hours late and had to try and find our resort in the dark and lose a day of vacation. And they ran out of food on the flight. The trip back to Pittsburgh via Charlotte was much worse. The airline flew to St Maarten and didn't have enough fuel to get us to Charlotte. My daughter had a flight leaving out of Ontario, California at 1:10 a.m. Get there at 12:30, the attendant tells us to check in at the kiosk. And this is where the nightmare starts. They charge $25 for first luggage and $35 for second luggage. Let me remind you, it does not say any of this when I purchased ticket. Took a flight from Detroit Mi. to Philadelphia PA to connect to a "direct flight" to Punta Cana Dominican Republic. Since I used to fly a lot for business, I was already expecting problems from American Airlines, as I have many times prior. “Worst flight ever!”

Last week I flew on American Airlines from Medellin, Colombia to Miami, Florida and then on a connecting American Airline flight to Las Vegas, Nevada. Flying from San Juan to Nashville via hub in Charlotte(21 November 2015). Staff demanded "no carry on" period. You will next see your carry on bags in Nashville. Do or don't fly. This policy is probably due to limited overhead space. Crew/gate staff DID NOT allow for under seat accomodations. This occurred at the gate while boarding and it was sudden. No announcement. On Wednesday November 25th, 2015 I was traveling with my young granddaughter, she was very tired so I was carrying her carry on baggage. The man at the gate stopped me and told me I was only allowed two carry on baggages. I tried to tell him I was carrying my granddaughters carry on. “Other Airlines treat their customers with respect--not AA”

Very expensive and made error when hitting the on line button, would never have chosen them otherwise. Called to reverse error immediately however once they have your money they are not giving it back. Phone staff extremely rude and childish.
