“Bad food served international flight.”

American Airlines flight aa721 from Rome to Charlotte served food so bad I don't think my dog could have eaten it. It was a dish of curried rice with spinach, no alternate meal was left by the time they got me us. The last "snack" was a pizza roll that was so greezy it was nauseous. “Cancelled our flight and left us in the dust”

We had a scheduled flight out of Leon Mexico at 7 AM. At 2 AM I get an email alert from Orbitz saying that our flight got cancelled. We got to the airport as soon as we could to make sure we could get on the next flight to Dallas. I looked up tickets and they had tickets available for the 12:00 pm flight. When we were at the counter they wouldn't even offer that flight to us. Rude customer service. They wouldn't let us check our bags in until hours later. “Crew needs some training from BA”

The crew could do with some training in customer relations from British Airways. They seemed to have a 'couldn't care less' attitude, did not make one feel welcome and do not appear to value their passengers. The absence of a more youthful enthusiastic and dynamic crew would probably go a long way to solving this. “worst customer service ”

As me and my husband were boarding our flight leaving puerto Rico the ticket check agent was immediately very rude. He told me and my husband that we had to check are carry on bag because it was to big. Now mind you there was at least 10 more passengers in line with the same size bag or bigger. “Lost baggage”

Airlines lost my sons bag for 3 months. They told us to purchase essentials, which we did. Mind you the bag was lost for 3 months. They made a decision what was needed and what was not. We were very selective on what we purchased and did not go over board at all. We had to purchase a new duffle bag because we have a trip out of the country - they also felt that was not needed. “The WORST airline ”

Due to technical issues on our flight, we missed our connection flight in Dallas to Knoxville. They not only tried put myself (I am pregnant) and my 3 other co-workers (total 2 males and 2 females) in 1 room with 1 bed at a Super 8 motel, but they also were very rude about locating my bag that had important medication inside of it for my pregnancy. “Special flight”

My wife and I flew to El Paso, TX and I returned by myself on American Airlines. The trip out was normal and everyone was professional but my flight back after missing a flight and rebooking on flight1382 out of DFW was extraordinary. I understand that sometimes flights get delayed or cancelled, it happens. What I do not understand is how a flight can get cancelled the night prior and me not by notified, so I still show up to the airport at 0430 in the morning only to be told I got rescheduled to the following day at 1130 am? “Upcharge for seats ?”

Received e mail to advise that there had been a change in schedule, but it was ONLY to the short internal flight to major hub, and NOT to international flight. “Did not call security”

Had a disruptive woman on our plane. I got moved from my seat. The woman tried to start a fight with another woman. Then they let her off the same time as the people she was trying to start a fight. Flight home delayed on tarmac 2hrs. Connecting flight home canceled, lost luggage. Told luggage was in airport could take 4 hours to find. Refused to send bags when found to hotel. Could not get a flight home for two days. Returned to airport next day to get bags, they were sent ahead. American Airlines does not care about their customers. I had emergency surgery and was unable to fly in May 2015. I was not able to use my ticket between May and January 2016 which was one year from purchase date. I recently travelled on American Airlines from Phoenix to LA 25th January 2016. “Never fly with AA, they are the worst!!!!!”

I tried to cancel my flight last year, but they only gave me $99 credit for $300 flight and I was told that I can use it for a year from flight date, today they told me that it actually was one year from purchase date, which means they gave me a credit of $99, tricked me and took it back, if everything goes as planned then yes you save money as they are cheap, but if you plans change be ready to loose all your money, never choose AA, go with United, they are much better… Read Full Review

I wish I could give no starts. Was promised a refund.Refund Status says the ticket is refunded. I called for the 20th time and got the run around about how it is being reviewed. It really is a joke how bad the service is.I will never fly AA again.

Do not fly with them. Their customer service is terrible. My flight was delayed causing me to miss my connecting flight and they provided no compensation for the inconvenience whatsoever. If that was the only inconvenience I would've been more forgiving but their aiport staff was also rude, I lost sleep because I had to stay in the airport and when i finally got to my destination i discovered they lost my bags! AA is the worst airline ever, I have never had such bad experience with any other airlines, not even Spirit. In the last four months I've had four terrible experiences due to airlines fault. They lost my checked bags twice, broken items in those bags which I never got reimbursed for. Twice the flight was canceled due to mechanical issues. After paying full price for first class ticket and selecting seats I surprisingly found them reassigned at the last minute to awful non-reclining FC seats. I can understand having to change planes, but give the folks who paid cash for the seats equivalent seats. The FC bulkhead seats were given to customers using upgrades from coach.
