, Marbella On our previous visits to Marbella in early November the Marbella, El Fuerte Miramar Spa Hotel hotel has been closed but in 2013 it stayed open until mid November so we decided to stay there for the first time and were glad that we did. We found the rooms to be generous in size, clean with well designed furniture and most of them have wide sea views with balconies. Breakfasts were of a good standard (with eggs freshly cooked to order by a charming lady chef) and could be enjoyed outside on the terrace. We also had a great buffet dinner at the sister hotel, Fuerte Marbella, only a short walk away, followed by a flamenco show there. The reception staff at the Miramar were very welcoming and took the trouble to allocate us the room we had requested. We were happy with every aspect of our stay and would recommend this hotel for location (central yet in a quiet side street), service quality and very fair value for money at the promotional rate which included free parking and two spa visits .

Ein schöner Platz mit Beach Bar und ruhigem Garten, trotzdem mitten in Marbella Zentrum gelegen und nur wenige Schritte zur sehenswerten Altstadt. Ein Hotel mit kompetenten Mitarbeitern, für Strandurlaub aber genauso für Leute, die die wunderschöne Costa Del Sol und das sehenswerte Hinterland entdecken möchten. Auf bald im "Fuerte Miramar", auf bald in Marbella.

my wife and i stayed at this hotel for a week recently, and this was our third stay at this hotel. the location is excellent, the breakfast is splendid and the staff are helpful and courteous. the bedroom was spacious and kept very clean, as is the hotel itself. highly recommended.

Hotel very good except for facilities for sunbeds - not enough space. Life guard very helpful. Dining room and reception staff very good.

It was our 5th stay at the Fuerto Miramer Hotel. This is a four star Hotel, but we would give it five stars taking into consideration food, location, room condition, price, hotel staff work. Hotel food is absolutely excellent, we dined in main restaurant and beach restaurant, the prices and quality we fount better then in town restaurants. The Hotel located in a prime location five minutes walk to Marbella Old City Centre, a short walk to hundreds of sea side restaurants, only 10 minutes taxi drive to the Marbella Bus Station ( it is very convenient if you do not want to overspend on Taxi if you travel from airport ) And of course one minute away from a beach. All rooms are newly refurbished with plenty of wardrobe space, large balcony, very important working air condition and very clean rooms. You can leave you balcony door open thought all night and only you would hear is the noise of the sea waves. Prices are very reasonable you would not feel like you overpaid for your stay. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We defiantly will go back again.

Fantástico hotel en una ubicación inmejorable. Frente a la playa de la bajadilla y frente al precioso Casco antiguo de la ciudad de Marbella. El trato de todo el personal del hotel es fantástico y las instalaciones están perfectamente acondicionadas para disfrutar al máximo. Sensacional el buffet del desayuno y el área de la piscina e inmejorable el Beach Club. Ideal para unas vacaciones en familia. Un ejemplo más de la calidad de los hoteles del grupo fuerte.

soy cliente habitual pero este año mi familia hemos notado una bajada de atención como clientes. los servicios en el bar tardaban mucho aunque el personal se esforzaba al máximo por atendernos bien. este año han quitado el bufete al medio día lo que complica a las familias que tenemos bebés la comida. este asunto se comentaba entre los clientes como algo negativo. como positivo que el personal del hotel es muy amable, muy servicial y que la buena situación en Marbella hace que sea un hotel cómodo. Como resumen, hemos estado bien, pero en la anterior estancia estuvimos bastante mejor

Just back from 3 nights at the Fuerte Miramar, had such a lovely time. Room was nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing, with really friendly staff on hand to help with anything we needed. They also gave us water, juice and biscuits to take away for the journey on our last morning, which was a nice touch! Hotel is very conveniently located to everything - you can choose either to walk down the promenade at night or a few minutes to the Old Town. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for two weeks. The service is perfect and the location of the hotel is right on the beach promenade just 2 minutes walk from the long list of restaurants. Very clean, has its own spa and right on the edge between the new and the old town. So it can be quiet in the hotel or lots of action along the promenade. Free WiFi good food and very friendly staff. Great hotel.

This year was the second time I've visited this hotel with friends. We loved it last time and this year was great too. The staff are really friendly and we enjoyed being by the pool and close to the beach. I'd definitely recommend this hotel - the balcony view rooms were lovely too. I'll be back next year!

Thanks to all the staff for making our second stay as relaxing as the first. The bedrooms are nice and clean, the buffet breakfast perfect to provide a solid start to the day and I'd fully recommend the club sandwich. The service of the bar staff is second to none, they're really attentive and responsive even during busy times. There's a lovely pool, a beach outside and just five minutes walk to restaurants and bars a plenty. We've only been back a week but we're already discussing next years trip.

We have just returned from our second visit for a weekend girls holiday. The hotel is clean, smart and excellent value. We found the staff were very helpful and the waiters and bar staff in particular were helpful, friendly and fast with orders. We are definately returning next year!

I wasn't too sure about returning to a hotel were i had such a great holiday as can it be the same the 2nd time?? Well...yes it can. The staff again were fantastic and so helpful and friendly. The breakfast is amazing and managed to have 4 courses. Such a great location for the beach and restaurants and bars nearby. Will definitely be returning for my 3rd visit very soon. Highly recommend.

This was our second time staying at this hotel, we loved it just as much as before. I traveled with a group of 9 girls all wanting to relax and enjoy some sunshine. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the pool was clean and had plenty of sun beds. The breakfast was a welcome start to the day. The hotel is right on the beach so it was perfect. Thankyou for a wonderful stay, we will be returning next year!
