I like this Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone but have a few issues with it.
Battery life i think is dreadfull mine lasts 2-3 days tops, half life the time I have to turn it off and lets just say i rarely use my phone.
Now and again i would put phone in my pocket pull it out to see the time and find myself connected to the net or in middle of text message. I deleted the short cut menus but still it connects me to net if i hit the knobly bit by accident.
Games are good especially Crazy Golf… Read Full Review

I needed a pair of reliable mobile phones for myself and my wife, due to an apalling experience with a pair of Motorola A920s on the 3 network. The Sony Ericsson T610s fitted the bill. Everything works as it should, and even advanced functions take minutes to learn as the joystick navigation system is extremely intuitive. The phone is a strong signal grabber and picks up well even when buried in a pocket. The camera even has a low light mode much like a back light function on a camcorder.

I have had my Sony Ericsson T610 for nearly a week now, the latest in a long line of mobile phones i've had. I've had Nokias, Sagems, Samsungs and Motorolas, as well as a 3G NEC e606 but none have compared to this so far.
The menu system is so easy to use and you can pick it up extremely easily within a few hours of starting the phone up.
The battery lasts a good few days without playing games, i make a good couple of hours calls a day and the battery still hangs in there.
Reception is very… Read Full Review

I love the Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone. Its easier to use than the T68i as the keys are better spaced, the screen clearer and bigger. Its prettier in a restrained elegant way too.
Battery life is adequate for several days low use or a couple fairly heavy. You have a choice of SMS alerts but you cant add your own sadly (well I cant).
I have a 'body glove' case for it which makes it look a bit more butch and protects the delicate looking shell (it doesnt seem to be a delicate phone however… Read Full Review

Looked at a lot of mobile phones before choosing this Sony Ericsson T610 and it hasnt dissappointed. After good service from my 3330 I wasnt expecting so much technology. Looks very good, good reception, ring tones arent great though. Excellent menu system as well. Great blue tooth headsets available for safer drving which is just as well because anything you plug into the jack on the botton of the phone falls out with the slightest knock, nokia ones are much better. Apart from that niggle, it… Read Full Review

Having wanted to buy a camera mobile phone basically for the camera, i purchased this Sony Ericsson T610, but then took it back the next day. the phone itself is excellent, with superb features, such as different camera photo styles, and a 'paint' type program. the phonelooks cool and is very light to hold, but the drawback here is the casing and screen scrath and smudge very easily. the sounds are good, but the range of ringtones is awful, you basically have to download them. However the… Read Full Review

I bought my Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone after soldering on with my NEC DB2000 for far too long. Wasn't an impulse buy, as I did much research on this model before looking for the best deal... Quite happy to stick with pay-as-you-go, so looked for decent handset to pop my existing sim into....
Blown away by the mass of technology packed into such a diminutive handset. Amazing capability and no major drawbacks. Only niggle is the darned joystick which has been recessed by design, but means… Read Full Review

I was out for trying a different phone from my usual nokias becuase quite frankly the nokia software has always been rubbish, just that everyone is used to it and don't like change. Sony Ericsson T610 is different, but definately in a better way. It's a phone that is pretty much the same incredible size as a 8310, but stuffed with much more power and functionality (and it won't crash on you every now and again sending a text message). There are some "annoyances", but nothing more than that… Read Full Review

I bought this Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone 3 months ago and I am generally extremely happy with it. It is by far better that the sharp GX10i, which is in the same price range. The display has an amazing resolution, when pictures are being downloaded rom a pc. The camera pictures are also considered ok considering the price and size of the phone(much better than Nokia 7250i). On the otehr hand there are a few disturbing things I have noticed about this phone. The first and most disturbing is… Read Full Review

I must admit I really liked this Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone when it came out. I love the style of it and the build quality is great! I had read reviews that said the screen, ring tones and reception were poor. The screen is great, but as with all colour screens is fainter in direct sunlight. The ring tones are loud and fine (as long as you turn off the increasing ringtone - so that it is only softer for the first 3 or 4 seconds as opposed to 20 seconds). The reception is great. I have no… Read Full Review

The Sony Ericsson T610 is the mobile phone that every man has been waiting for. It's manly looks and Technical Features are dreams come true for male mobile users.
The only problem is WAP capabilities.Software limitations have taken its toll.WAP sessions are not fully accessed and some pages end up in a blank that results in a short disruption of connectivity, although this is only temporary and full function is restored and on the go after a few minutes after switching off.
Generally,the T610… Read Full Review

I was lucky enough to acquire a blue model of the Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone and it looks beautiful! I used to own a T68i so am used to the joystick system...its a breeze when you get used to it. The texting is excellent too, better than nokia in my opinion. Colour is used extensively in the display unlike some colour phones that only use it for the initial menu system ( sharp gx10 for example) and really is bright! Its got a very high specification and works a treat! The camera is not up… Read Full Review

I have had this Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone for a week now. Before I got it I researched it thoroughly. I read almost all the reviews on this site and many on other sites. I think it's a really great phone. It's a good size, it's light. It has an awesome colour screen, camera and polyphonic ringtones. The camera takes photos that are not amazing, but they're pretty good for the size of the camera. If you want great quality photos then buy a digital camera. The camera is a toy - a really… Read Full Review

All in all a great phone. I was sceptical about changing to Sony Ericsson after spending 5 loyal years with Nokia. Boy am I glad I did. This is a FANTASTIC phone. It has everything you want and nothing you dont want. This phone is the future. If Sony improve the screen and the camera I dont think we will find a better phone for at least a good few years… Read Full Review

I bought the Sony Ericsson T610 back in July 2003 and was expecting it to be a good solid phone and a definite progression from my old Siemens C45. I was expecting the phone to basically be everything my past phones had been and not much else. How i was wrong. When i got the phone home i was amazed to discover the size of it which is tiny. I thought it would have been rather large - screenshots of the phone make it look that way especially with its square design. The phones design is half… Read Full Review
