When I bought this Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone, I was always an ardent Nokia fan. Contrary to my expectations, this phone has been great! The design is sleek and I've got a handsfree FM headset that works really well. Disadvantages: battery life could be improved and memory could be increased (it often asks me to delete old mssgs). Advantages: It's really easy to use, predictive texting is great and use is intuitive. Also - durability. I have dropped this phone a million times and it still… Read Full Review

I really like this Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone I just wish they would iron out some of the common software problems. I'm hoping it will be third time lucky as yet again i will be taking my dodgy phone back… Read Full Review

I had my Sony Ericsson T610 phone for a few months now, and already I have had to send it to be repaired twice already! It cuts out halfway through phone calls, when I can actually hear the phone ringing. Then I switch it off and it won't switch back on for weeks!… Read Full Review

I recommend the Sony Ericsson T610 phone to anyone who enjoys their ringtones suddenly not working, their phone freezing up or not turning on, speaking to an unhelpful person after being on hold trying to get it fixed for hours, sending it away for repairs and not getting it back for weeks then breaking again and having to send it back… Read Full Review

I've always been an 'Ericsson man' back from the first mobile phone I bought ten years ago. This was an upgrade from the T39 (superb phone) as I wanted the colour screen.
I was torn between the Z600 and Sony Ericsson T610 (same phone, different outside) and as the 610 seemed better built I plumped for that option. It looks great with the brushed aluminium fascia (not interchangable) and the bright and good sized colour screen.
First impressions are that the phone is very good, its user… Read Full Review

Having been a devoted Nokia user for a decade, I decided to have a change.
A lot of the Nokia mobile phones out now are pretty lame and tacky looking, so no excitement there!
After reading great reviews about the Sony Ericsson T610 and having seen a lot of my friends buying this phone, i decided to follow and wow! what a great choice I made!
The screen is really colourfull, the polyringtones have a quality sound to them, the navigation is very well thought out-I must say its a breeze to… Read Full Review

I upgraded to this Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone last year from a t68i that I had for a year.
Obviously the camera was a complete improvement and I'm still very happy with the camera. The phone itself is good, a very handy size but the screen does tend to scratch easily.
The battery life I have never found to be a problem but the reception can be a problem if you are indoors.
The built in mms and wap menus are good but the overall menu design can be difficult to navigate.
Bottom line is I… Read Full Review

The Sony Ericsson T610 is a cracker of a mobile phone, with its sleek look and good quality build. The screen is perfect and everything else on it. That's all Basically.
Apart from one thing; when someone ring's you, you get a old phone style ringtone ring before your polyphonic comes on, which is annoying… Read Full Review

This Sony Ericsson T610 is my second Sony Ericsson after the T68i. I absolutely love this little handset. It comes with everything. Granted the camera could be a tad sharper but when considering that the t610 mobile phones main rival is the god awful nokia 7250i, then i think the t610 is doing a good job.
In terms of features it has everything. Including bluetooth, you can actually play games through the bluetooth function eg mini golf. and it also has infared.
What the t610 has that most… Read Full Review

I had this Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone for exactly two weeks before returning and cancelling my T-Mobile contract. However, I have had second thoughts. I think it was the phone not the T-Mobile coverage that was at the root of the problem. Am going to give the Motorola V300 a shot. Perhaps it will work out better. This was not what I expected from Sony. The other thing was it would get real sluggish on me. Sometimes the "back return" key would not function as I would expect it to… Read Full Review

I got the Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone free on contract. And its great. I'm upgrading from a t300, which was ok but i wouldn't recommend it (get a t68i instead..). I charged it up for the 4 hours it said, and turned it on. Imagine my excitement when i saw that on the screen, pictures actually looked good! Not pixellated messes like on my old t300. Imagine my joy when i heard those lovely ringtones..they sound like real songs! Bluetooth is so useful, it's unbelieveable and there is fun… Read Full Review

Now I know why the Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone was a 'free' upgrade. Receiving the handset about 6 months ago was very exciting, but after a week of usage, I found myself taking the sim out and using my old Nokia again. Reasons: the keyboard is really difficult to use, perhaps the buttons are too small and positioned wrong - who knows. The screen is too dim on standby - I can't tell if a 'silent' text has arrived unless I activate the phone. It saves every text I send taking up stacks of… Read Full Review

Before getting this Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone I was slightly dubious. Looking at the photos on different websites etc it doesn't look much.... Wait until you see it in the flesh!! I was very impressed in this little phone. The pictures don't do it any favours whatsoever you have to see and use it to believe it. I am used to various different phones - having used about 20 different ones in the last few years. My previous phone to this was the Panasonic GD87 Camera Phone - what a… Read Full Review

My first disappointment with this Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone was the battery life, my main reason for buying it. The specs for this phone claim a very long battery life but you only have to play a couple of games with it and you have to charge it up every other day just like any other phone, so don't be fooled. The main problem however, which would have kept me from buying it had I known, is the ease with which it can accidentally connect to the WAP network. You can dial the network either… Read Full Review

I had upgraded my contract with this Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone recently cause it looked very different from the others (had nokias for many years) and wanted a phone with a camera, but had to give it back because of one very annoying problem: the option for the ascending ring cannot be turned off ( the only two choices are either 'on', which means the phone starts ringing at its full volume after about 10 rings, or 'normal', which means the full volume ring begins after 4… Read Full Review

This Sony Ericsson T610 is the worst mobile phone I have ever had. I have had to have it repaired twice through the manufacturer and the problems (listed below) still persisted:
Battery never last longer than 3 days and that was with very little usage and with being switched off over night. It also took ages to load.
Picture quality was dreadful and had lines appearing through the image. The lens was also very slow to focus.
Aluminium body scratched really easily
Frequently cut off… Read Full Review

The Sony Ericsson T610 is the first Sony Ericsson mobile phone I have had. It was recommended to me as the best "budget" phone on the market.
Yes, the T610 has got loads to offer. I dont think it is very user friendly compared to the Nokias I have had in the past, but this is something I am sure I will get used to as I explore the phone more.
I bought 2 T610s one for my wife and myself. I have seen other T610s in blue or red. It would be good if these covers were available to make it easier… Read Full Review

All in all the Sony Ericsson T610 is a brilliant mobile phone, the ringtones are out of this world and it is just so easy to use. the quality of the colour screen is amazing. it is certainly the best phone i have ever had. i don't like nokia's, and samsungs aren't brill either, but i suppose thats personal preferance. i am havings problems getting the infrared working and the screen is very hard to keep clean, but apart from that its a cracker. the camera quality isn't as good as some of the… Read Full Review

I do like this Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone, particularly after the Panasonic GD87 that I had before (vastly over-rated in my opinion). The sound quality is good, as is reception, and the battery life is quite acceptable (and the indicator seems to be much more accurate than most of my previous phones - mostly Nokia).
The buttons are quite small which may be a problem for some people, and the text on them is correspondingly small which may be difficult if you have poor eyesight. The… Read Full Review
