I got a T610 a year ago as a free upgrade - just as well, it isn't worth a penny. Worst phone I have ever had. Was really chuffed to start with and ignored a colleague who said she hated her T610. Partner also had one - he changed his soon after. Glad I'm now eligible for a free upgrade - can't wait to see the back of it… Read Full Review

I received the Sony Ericsson T610 as part of my annual bribe from T mobile to stay with them. When I took it out of the box I was trully sucked in by the fact it was a good looking phone and it had a camera.
After a while this wears thin, and you soon realise that you have a great looking phone with below average memory for what it was designed to do and everyone has got one. Quite clearly, it was Sony's attempt to undercut Nokia and gain a bigger place in the market, which I am sure it has… Read Full Review

Sony Ericsson T610 - It's a rather good phone to start with. The responsiveness of the keypad is comparable with Nokia standards. This is what I really liked. The camera starts up quite quickly but resolution does not reach up to Samsung standards although it's a 65k colour screen phone. The ringtone is also quite good and supports up to 32 chords, which is much better than most Nokia phones which only supports up to 16 chords. The phone is also quite worth the price as it supports bluetooth. A… Read Full Review

Despite the great look and loads of functionality (most of which may probably be wasted on the average mobile phone user) I will not buy another SE T610 phone. The reason lies mostly in the degradation of the performance of the software with the increased memory usage and time. Having added a few words in the dictionary, all of my contacts to the phone memory and a handful of pictures, I find myself not being able to even take another picture (on vodafone by the way you cannot delete the… Read Full Review

I got the SE T610 phone on an O2 online contract because I wanted to change from Nokias which I have ALWAYS had. Originally I ordered the Z600 but they didn't have any in stock, so I went for the T610.
And I can honestly say it is a million times better than any of the Nokias I have owned. I love this phone, I might not even upgrade when my contract is up! It's perfect for me!
The best bits of the phone for me have to be the multimedia capabilities it has.
There is so much space for tones… Read Full Review

I had bought my Sony Ericsson T610 in January and at first I liked it.
Once I tried the camera it was great, but I zoomed in and the quality was poor. Great phone overall. The colour screen is great quality and all the other options are ok but it's not a phone I would buy again… Read Full Review

I've had my T610 for about 10 months now, & I was very happy to begin with.
Now I have problems with it locking up & giving me the dreaded 'blue screen of doom', & the back button works as & when it feels like it.
If you want to view the screen in sunlight you are well out of luck as well.
In its defence, the ringtone quality is excellent… Read Full Review

I bought this mobile after reading reviews at reviecentre.com. I've had T610 from a month and I think it's a great phone. It has great features & performs up to the mark. From the fad shape, good screen quality, great sound quality. I would recommend this mobile to everyone who wants to buy something stylish & cheap… Read Full Review

I've had 2 T610 - and my current one is on its last legs after a year. The buttons don't work so all I can do is see who is calling me.
Apart from the fault I have to admit the time when it did work this lil thing was pretty nifty, ok so now it's been super-seeded by the T630 and soon enough you got the T650 and the K700i is already out. But for the price you can pick these phones up now for, it is well worth it… Read Full Review

VERDICT: The Sony Ericsson T610 is a nice phone, but don't buy it if you are at all fussy about performance, camera or screen quality.
What I liked:
On paper the phone had a good list of features for its price-point and my first impressions were good. The overall design is neat and attractive and although the system interface is somewhat quirky, most people will soon get used to it. Also, for most people the mini-joystick is probably a little sloppy for quick, accurate use and can along with… Read Full Review

I have had my Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone for some while now and its great! the feel of the phone is sleek. the look is good. and most of all the build is excellent, i dropped my sony/ericsson t610 into my fish pond by accident! i fished it out and it was still working. i did take the phone apart to give it a thourough cleaning and there was very slight water inside of the phone, its working perfect as ever . ******** stars from me… Read Full Review

I have owned my Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone since january and it has been a revelation. I have always been a nokia man and this is the first sony ericsson phone that i have owned. It is not quite as easy to use as a nokia but it is easy to get used to it. The camera is of very good quality but the flash is sold separately. A few months ago i received notification from sony ericsson that my charger was being recalled as it was dangerous but it was all cleared up and i was sent a new charger… Read Full Review

I bought 18 mobile phones for the company last November and virtually everyone chose the Sony Ericsson T610.
I am afraid we are all disappointed. The comments range from "poor display", "can't see anything in sunlight", "cursor key has a mind of its own", "poor quality photos" and "over-complex menu". If you want a phone to impress, you are a teenager or you want small with features, then this is the one for you. But if you want to use a phone in anger, you're busy or you can't be bothered with… Read Full Review

This Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone looks better than it performs. It ends up doing a reasonable job at most things but satisfaction will depend largely on what you use it for.
For me, I have found it to be an awkward phone to own. The screen gets easily scratched, requiring a case which bulks it out, negating its small size advantage. The most annoying feature is that the screen is nearly impossible to read in daylight and it has a tendancy to slow down when recieving SMS, occasionally… Read Full Review

I had this Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone for 2 months before selling it on Ebay and replacing with a Nokia 7250i (thank GOD).
The phone was... HORRIBLE! The text message facility is mickey mouse- so slow, there is no quick way of doing it. Texts are saved ALL the time- sent, unsent, blank texts.. using up LOADS of memory.
Ringtones are appalling, can't even hear them. There is no way of turning off the ascending ringtone yet an option to turn it on.. when it's standard anyway!!

The Sony Ericsson T610 is good if one wants a mobile phone that is simple and easy to use. but if you are someone who expects a lot for a camera phone, this model is going to let you down. No doubt it gives users 65k colours, the memory space is only a miserable 2MB! that means, if you want to store pictures, this model only allows you to store a maximum of 16 pics before u are prompted to delete some pics.
Also, the polyphonic ringtones are inaudible. Good if you are in library but u can't… Read Full Review

I change my phone every year as I'm a bit of a gadget nerd.
This Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone has to be one of the most unreliable on the market.
The battery life is nowhere near that stated by the manufacturer.
The phone continually freezes with no explanation causing a lengthy reboot.
Software which I have downloaded and paid for disappears.
I have had the firmware upgraded but still the same things keep happening.
Sony Ericsson have the poorest support service imaginable and Carphone… Read Full Review
