You can not contact anybody directly on the 'customer compliants' number, instead you have to leave a message and wait for them to call you back.

I have had claims refused on seemingly contradictary as well as what I thought was absolutely ridiculous grounds, and in opposition to the opinions of m ...

My dog has been insured with Petplan since I got her aged 8 weeks, she is now 10 yrs old with a heart condition. Claims settled reasonably quickly, new form sent with each settlement. I have to pay £35 premium per month, an excess of £105 each year plus 20% of every claim. She needs &pou ...

I took out the top level Petplan UK insurance and had it for a couple of years. I then claimed for a procedure that my dog needed and qualified for with the high excess I got half of my claim for £180.00 back. The next years premium increased by exactly the amount of my claim. Which got me th ...

Having once been a little slow settling claims, Petplan have gone sharply downhill of late. Failure to action callbacks, SLAs failed for settling claims, providing data, ignoring requests for refunds etc etc etc. Worryingly, one of the vets at my local practice mentioned "on the quiet" that they had ...

My pets (various) have been insured with Pet Plan for the past 14 years and when I have had to make a claim, I have never had a problem. They have always received my paperwork and that of the vets and have never said that they would not cover for a condition which I have claimed for.

My current dog GSD, is the third I have insured with Pet Plan.
I'm pleased to say that I have never had any problems with them.
My GSD, sadly, has hip displasia and will probably need an expensive operation at some time. It is so reassuring to me that I know the cost will be covered by PP as I could ...

Pet plan as far as I am concerned have NOT given me good service.
I had the unfortunately bad luck to lose two kittens last year, and the hoops we had to jump through to get them to pay, was just horrible.. with all the stress and upset due to losing the kittens, I just couldn't be bothered to pursu ...

I have four show boxers and all are insured with Pet Plan Pet Insurance. They have always been great at paying out etc. However my last three claims have all been refused on absolute ridiculous grounds and in direct opposition to the written findings of my vet. There claims team seems to now think t ...

I have almost reached my limit per year on two occasions and Petplan have always paid them quickly and in full with no problems. My dog would almost certainly have had to be putdown by now if it hadn't been for Petplan allowing me to get the very best care for him without any worries about paying fo ...

They now include dental. I had a Petplan policy and my cat developed diabetes and I was using up my entire limit for the year. I switched to petsecure 2 and now have twice the amonth of money a year for diabetes plus dental coverage! Awesome!
