When taking out insurance it's really easy to talk to the customer care people. Unfortunately, my first claim was submitted in August, and it still isn't settled at the end of October. I've been told that Marks and Spencers Pet Insurance have taken on so much business they can't cope with claims. ...

They have always paid out for claims I have made for my epileptic dog. He has had a lot of problems, and they have never queried any of the claims I have made. He is on medication for life now, and Marks and Spencers Pet Insurance always pay fairly promptly. They even paid out for a home visit, no q ...

Marks and Spencers Pet Insurance seems very reasonable to start with, but I have heard from other Mastiff/Molosser owners that the premiums had risen by up to 300% upon renewal. I went online for a "test" quote with exactly the same details as my original, and the price was up by 150%. If this is th ...

I had taken out pet insurance with marks and Spencers a month ago, which was EXCELLENT value for money. The benefits were great, and I was really impressed. When ringing to add on another pet, I almost fell off my chair when the guy told me it was FOUR times more expensive for the second pet (£ ...

I have been with Marks and Spencers Pet Insurance for over a year now, and I must have had 20 claims, and they have paid for them all, plus when I came to renew my policy the premiums didn't even go up, and I thought they would have done with the amount of claims I have had. At one point, they were ...

When I phoned, initially to take out the Marks and Spencers Pet Insurance policy, I was advised I would receive written details within 10 days. A few days before the start date, it had not arrived, so I phoned, only to be told they usually send out the policy on the start date. However, it still di ...

Firstly after requesting this insurance on-line I had to phone Marks & Spencer Pet Insurance after 2 weeks as there was no sign of a policy.
After attempting to create my policy 3 times they finally got all the details correct.
I have also now been charged for this policy twice ?

I have not been with Marks and Spencers long but I would like to say what a good service they provide. I've made 2 claims so far and they have paid up within about a week. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I have shopped around, and Marks and Spencers Pet Insurance has the highest levels of cover. 5% if applying online, varying levels of excess, such as 15% off premiums if you agree a £20 excess. This should be given serious consideration. My Springer Spaniel needed urgent medical attention, and ...

After checking rates on the internet with different companies I found Marks and Spencers provided the cheapest quality lifetime pet insurance coverage. Also for a little bit extra there is no policy excess.
For example my cairn terrier is fully covered for under £11 per month.
    The only bad p ...
