I too have had my Marks and Spencer Pet Insurance renewal through, It was £12 per year when I took it out two years ago with a nil excess for my Labrador puppy. The renewal is £28 plus a £70 excess. I will not be renewing with them.

Its a shame as they were without doubt the bes ...

Marks and Spencer Pet Insurance were great a few years ago, one of the best policies around.

My premium has gone up from £37.99 to £73.99!! £887 per year, more than double and a half what I pay for my car Insurance.

I too was disgusted with M&S when I got my policy renewal. Despite a very small claim during last year ( £65) my 3 year old pedigree dog's cover has more than doubled. When I rang to query this I was told it was because they had changed underwriters. I was on the top cover policy, they did ...

I feel disgusted with M and S. I swapped to them for the cover they offered and then they changed it and doubled premiums. Those of us stuck with them because we have had a claim or even just seen a vet without claiming are now going to have to either not have any insurance or pay double or treble ...

I too am disappointed in the way M&S have simply changed the excess levels for existing customers. They have moved from AXA to Royal Sun Alliance as their underwriters. However, for those of you out there who want the same type of cover to what you're used to - simply go directly to AXA and their ...

My dog was ill and then had to be put to sleep. I pay my insurance by direct debit, my dog died at the beginning of the renewal time, when I sent my claim through they advised me that because my dog had been treated in the first month of the yearly renewal and had died I still needed to pay the full ...

I've been very satisfied with the ease of making a claim and with the telephone helpline. An excellent service. M&S has paid the vet directly without problem or delay for each claim I've made. They are also one of the few insurance companies which the local vet will accept this arrangement with as o ...

Pet insurace policy has changed. Had no excess before, which was the reason I went with this company, now have an excess of £70, and my premium has went up even with no claims. Pathetic!

I unfortunately have claimed several times, as my Labrador has hip and elbow displasia diagnosed at 9 months old, my monthly payments were £12 in first year, the best price for cover I could find, then jumped to £22 last year which was fair enough we had claimed quite a bit, now &poun ...
