My premium has gone from £32 per month to £70 and I have had no joy whatsoever. I am still waiting for a reply fro the customer services helpline after phoning 3 times in the last week. I have been with them for 10 years and have now had to cancel as the date for renewal is closing in, ...

I was horrified when my renewal documents arrived, the premium quoted had more than doubled to over £500.00 - in words: five hundred pounds! for a four year old dog, no claims. This is due to the "selected breeds" invention - see above. Selected breeds means, I quote from their Policy booklet ...

Having looked around for cheaper pet insurance I felt I had to stick with Sainsburys as of companies didnt provide the same level of excellent cover.

Insured my partners cat with Sainsburys from 12 weeks old.
For 2 years the monthly premium was £5.63.
There have been no claims or change in circumstances over 2 years.
I was very suprised to notice the monthly premium had risen to £9.17 & the first I knew of this was my bank statement ...

After years with previous insurer, I moved to sainsbury's as they were offering a fair premium for my 11 year old xbreed and their excess was £50 OR 15% which I thought was fairer than the £50 PLUS 35% at my old insurers.
However, I have only just received my renewal notice dated 15/5 ...

After being dissatisfied with a well known insurance company who seemed to think they knew more about 1 of my dogs than the vets where he was being treated and they were,nt cheap I cancelled and swapped to Sainsburys. 1 month after taking out their policy I made a claim and was very satisfied with t ...

I am disgusted with my renewal premium for this year, it has gone up a staggering 80% to just under £400!!I have been a customer for several years and last years increase was only 6%. I have claimed a few times but not for very much(with an excess of £50 plus 15% it's not worth it some ...

We have been with Sainsburys for 5 years and this year they doubled our premium to £650 per year. Asked for this to be investigated - it took AXA over 12 days despite promising it would be 5 working days. No changeThis is outrageous - we have a retired police dog - a Springer Spaniel and alth ...

I have an 8 year old Labrador and my renewal in February did increase by £50. I have found the Customer Services to be excellent. My only gripe is with the delay in receipt of the Claim - maybe due to the Postal Service though. I found (once received) that my claim and any queries were dealt w ...
