The time for a cheque to be sent out is disgusting! Im currently on 12 weeks and still waiting. I am threatening E&L Insurance the with the Financial Ombudsman now, its that bad! They are very fast to take money but god-awful to send claim cheques out.

I am a vet and make claims on behalf of clients. Getting money from E and L is like getting blood from a stone. However the FSA in their wisdom have gagged vets from advising against companies like this unless they become FSA registered. This is not feasible for you average vet.

A nightmare to get your claim money from E and L Pet Insuranc. My father in law is with More Than, and when he's claimed, he had the cheque in two weeks. With these guys it took me three months, and that was only because I hassled them for the money!
