I have made 2 claims with them, and they did everything they could to get out of paying. One claim was for my dogs underactive thyroid. OK, so E&L have said they will pay my claim, and the time taken to assess it and make the offer actually hasn't been as bad as I expected. However, read and note your policy carefully. I took out the policy because I thought the maximum benefit they would pay was £4250 (per incident). ...

The cover is really good value for money but the length of time it took them to pay out has meant that I will be going elsewhere - I'd rather pay a bit more and be paid out quickly if I need to claim.
