I have read other reviews here as I am exasperated with e and l. They are a poor company and I hope that many other people read these reviews before wasting their money. I have had a claim in for three months now, and many telephone calls later I was told to complain, which I did - my claim was then ...

I initiated a claim in August 2007 and I am still waiting in December 2007. They like you to send in a complaint which takes another 2 weeks of time.

I have never come across a company so bad in my life. Each time I ring they seem not to have a clue what they are talking about.
This all started in October this year unfortunately my cat had to be put to sleep he was only one. He was a Birman cat and had a disease called F.I.P if you have ever he ...

The time they have taken to deal with my - simple- case is unacceptable. So far it has been 2 months. They made an offer but deducted money for the time my dog spent waiting for his operation at the vet and his after care - a total of 8 hours! Everything is dealt with by second class post. No cheque ...

My vet wouldn't accept direct payment from this company, so I had to pay up front and am still waiting for the money back 3 months on! It almost seems pointless taking out the insurance. When I call them to ask when I'll receive my money all they say is 'I don't know'. I asked would it be before C ...

My pet had an accident in August this year - my vets fees exceeded £3000. It took me 6 weeks to get an admission of liability for the claim from EandL - and only got one then as I threatened to speak to the FSA about the company. When they finally got round to offering a settlement figure and ...

I took out a policy with E and L 3 years ago and read the comments on here with horror. I had never claimed until earlier this year when my dog developed a poisonous abcess and needed emergency treatment. When I advised E and L, they immediately claimed that the abscess was linked to a recent castra ...

The first year was fine, I chose E&L because they were the cheapest at £45 per year. All of a sudden in September, £71 was taken from my bank account. No renewal notices were ever sent to me. When I phoned E&L they said renewal notices had been sent to me. When I asked why th ...

When I claimed for my cat it took them ages to actually pay up, we were not paid in full as they made excuses as to why they didn't and to top it all they kept sending me letters requesting payment for my policy every month otherwise they were going to cancel it - even though my cat had been put to ...
