As with all things in life, if you are organised and play by the rules you will not have too many problems. By using the American Express Blue card for business expenses and paying the balance off in full each month allows for the occasional luxury spend that is easy to manage. The cash back is stil ...

I've had the American Express Blue card 5 years and only paid interest charges once (my mistake). Just get in the habit of loggin on each week or so and pay. Remember, even if you pay a week or two ahead, you are not losing that much in interest from your savings and you totally prevent taking a ch ...

The service is bad at Amex. I paid for late payments of 2 of 3 days and then they still put my interest rate up to 25.9% I am thinking about complaining to the banking ombudsman and also I will close this card as soon as I can.

Anyone who gets a credit card with the ideal of using it because they need the money shouldn't have a credit card; instead you should get a loan with your loyal b ...

I have had multiple American Express Cards including the Platinum Card. The Service is horrible. Avoid at all costs. Why would anyone pay for such poor service or for the right to use their travel services, when they are already profiting from it.

Well okay, the cashback feature seems very attractive, IF it works. My bad experiences started when I noticed a significant shortage in my first year's cashback. There is a threshold of $6500, and once you have reached that your cashback rate becomes higher - i.e. if you spend more than $6500 you ar ...

I have had my American Express Blue credit card since August 2006. When I logged in tonight they had given me a hefty CLD out of the blue, that took my utilization from 32% to 83%. Nothing as far as I can tell has changed on my credit reports, and they did not even bother to inform me of their acti ...

The American Express Blue Credit card affords a fantastic opportunity for the young professional to join the Amex club and try to squeeze some benefits out of it. In Australia, you can get it with an income of 25k AUD annually or more, so that's quite achievable even on the minimum wage. It doesn't ...
