Nice idea, but definitely, definitely, definitely not worth the time and hassle - no matter what I tried, the Beauty Expert site wouldn't accept my tesco voucher codes. I've had to phone an 0844 number and email Beauty Expert so many times to get this sorted and still have not been able to place an order because the credit that they promised to apply to my account was not applied. Today, I find that I cannot even log in to my Beauty Expert account at all...pretty soon my Tesco vouchers will… Read Full Review

Although not the simplest this is definitely the most rewarding card giving you a huge amount of choice as to how to use your vouchers from spa days to magazine subscriptions to restaurants to airmiles to alton towers. Much better if you save your vouchers for a deal than spending in store. You just need to give yourself the time to read into the deals and understand them Tesco could improve through making the vouchers simpler… Read Full Review

If you're doing the Clubcard voucher exchange, be VERY VERY careful what you order. I have just exchanged £45 of points for £90 in vouchers, only to find that I have made a mistake and ordered in-store vouchers for something that can only be bought online. Have just wasted several hours arguing with the Tesco in-store helpdesk and several helplines, who are absolutely adamant: They cannot change the vouchers. They cannot refund my points. The vouchers must be spent on small electrical… Read Full Review

I been a member of the Tesco scheme from the outset and I couldn't recommend it enough. It still amazes me that I see people in the shop who haven't got a club card when it's basically free money! I've used mine for discounts, vouchers, cinema tickets and to get some amazing days out for my family. The beauty of the clubcard is that it's a very straightforward rewards programme and you can use it on the biggest shop you do. I even used to get double points by marrying it with a Tesco credit… Read Full Review

Ordered tokens to part pay for Hilton Hotel. Checked on website of flexible bed and breakfast rate for 2 nights - total was £196, the best rate was for £142 for 2 nights. I ordered my Tesco tokens and then went on to book the hotel, I was told that because I was using Tesco vouchers it would actually cost £339 for the two nights, I only had £120 worth of tokens and I would then have to pay £229 by debit/credit card. Tesco customers are paying almost double the rate and penalised for… Read Full Review

In a nutshell, exchanged vouchers to use on phone deal. Made a mistake and they are to spend instore rather than online. No tesco anywhere near me so rang customer services to see if they could be transferred back to spend online. Apparently this is impossible to do so £20 worth of vouchers wasted. Got a rude customer services rep spouting the usual terms and conditions apply spiel. I had been spending over £100 a week online in Tescos and thought a goodwill guesture wouldnt be that… Read Full Review

We booked 1 week cruise with Cunard in Oct 2011. As we exchanged the Tesco vouchers for part payment, we were told that the special offers such as free parking did not apply to us. In spite of no free parking, we went ahead to book the holiday. Checked Cunard website recently and found out that the price has dropped dramatically. Cunard insisted that they could not do anything because of the vouchers. Under this situation, we cannot cancel the trip because we will lose all our vouchers… Read Full Review

Whilst I like the idea that I can save up vouchers for a weekend break, I find the whole experience frustrating. You have to ask for the tokens before you know if you can get any accommodation. If that is then not possible, then wait 3 months for them to be credited back to your account. This prevents you for trying a different hotel group, whilst everything is possible to do on line I feel this is not an acceptable wait. When the Best Western Hotel tokens arrived, with a direction that no… Read Full Review

As my friend and I we are attending a wedding on 5th and 6th April in Chersty with our husbands we realised that we can use our Tesco reward points to book a hotel near the wedding. We called the Bridge Hotel in Chertsey to get a quotation and they told us bookings cannot be made for April until the end of January 2012. We then called in January to get a quotation so we would know how many vouchers to redeem at Tesco. They gave me a quotation of £168.00 for 2 a night stay in a double/twin… Read Full Review

I have previously used them for in store promotions, get £10 off for £5 clubcard voucer. Cons - deal runs every now and the, can only use in multiples of £5. Instead decided to use for Personalised Football Gift this time. Wasted a lot of time trying to order online, codes not accepted. Rang Tesco, had to speak to 3 different advisers, they put me onto provider, who took the details to process over the phone, then rang back to say I could only order online! Clearly couldn't do this as codes… Read Full Review

I was very pleased to discover I could use my Tesco Vouchers on the Denby website. They only give twice the value, but still good enough for me. I love Denby goods. All I wanted was 2 sets of cutlery. After entering my voucher code, I was alerted I couldn't use the voucher, because the set was a SALE item. ALL the cutlery sets on the Denby website are SALE items, bar two. So if I want to use my voucher now, I have to buy a full price item. I feel like I have been duped. I might as well have… Read Full Review

After trying to order an item from the tesco direct wesite I was met with a series of 'unexpected errors' which would not allow me to apply my well earned tesco clubcard online vouchers. So I phoned tesco direct to order it over the phone to apply my voucher codes. In the meantime my clubcard account became inaccessible with another 'unexpected error' and I could no longer log into my clubcard account. At this point I phoned tesco clubcard helpline to find out what was going on! Was told that… Read Full Review

I was turned down by so many hotels when I said I wanted to use Tesco Vouchers it was embarrassing to say the least. Ended up being accepted at the Castle Hotel Cardiff.... a Bespoke Hotel. I had to walk up 51 stairs to get to the reception, there was a night club with bouncers either side of the main entrance and when I did stagger into the reception it was to be told that sleeping on the 3rd floor would be difficult on a Saturday night. As my husband had told them I couldn't use a lift and… Read Full Review

Tesco Clubcard Hotel Vouchers (Hilton).
This review is more of a warning to others - I see there is another similar one below!
I recently used my clubcard vouchers for a hotel stay for the first time. I has been a terrible experience and I would not recommend it to anyone, or do this ever again.
Spent hours trawling the internet to find a suitable hotel and price, then ordered my vouchers, spent more hours trawling the internet, called the special number 3 times (interspersed with… Read Full Review

I have previously only used my vouchers for groceries in store. This year I was persuaded by a friend to change them up for 4 times their value in deals.
So I changed them up for days out vouchers.
What is NOT clear from the website is that whilst they list hundreds of places you can use these vouchers - some of them are "pay in full" which means you have to have special vouchers with the theme parks name on them.
Anyway I didn't understand this and showed up to Thorpe Park on 23rd October… Read Full Review
