“Moonpig has gone downhill”

Having used Moonpig for many years and found them very good, I have had 2 out of the last 4 gifts / cards delivered late. Their internet site has become slow and unresponsive recently during times near celebrations like mothers day, Valentines day, Easter etc. The first failed delivery in December,they blamed on the weather, yet they posted no warnings on their website even when weather was predicted several days in advance. “Canvas picture ”

Not worth the money. The 'first time' I received the canvas the picture was wavy and baggy on the canvas. I had to send it back. It was embarrassing. When it arrived the second time the picture was tighter to the canvas, but the shape of the canvas was all scewed and the canvas did not look straight when it hung on the wall because the canvas was not straight that they sent to me. Having relied heavily on Moonpig.com to send loved ones cards and presents since moving away from home, I feel that after receiving poor customer service and communication on 2 important occasions, I will now be taking my business elsewhere. My gifts for Mother's Day and Father's Day this year were either sent incomplete without prior warning or just not delivered at all. Ordered 2 cards for Father’s day and it showed that the order had gone through. I then find out that there was an error with website, and that it had not been ordered. I rang customer service and they were very unhelpful and were unable to send the card out until the Monday after Fathers day, which was useless. Also noted the website hung after submitting payment, although email confirmation came through, but no confirmation payment had been taken. I had exactly same problem, card not sent out until Monday.

I ordered a custom birthday card from Moonpig, and I couldn't be happier! The size and quality of the card are great - good size, thick card, glossy finish on picture. I ordered the card on a Sunday night, with the regular postage fee of less than one dollar. It was in my mailbox Tuesday afternoon. The picture and all of the included text was perfect. Son ordered these for my birthday, turned up a day late and flowers were dreadful! Few flowers and lots of dead greenery Total rip off - £30 on moonpig £3 at market!! Emailed and awaiting a reply. Very very disappointing. I've had plenty of cards and never had any issues but the flower side needs seriously overhauling so customers receive the service and goods they deserve and pay good money for. “Dreadful service and quality”

Mothers Day order of flowers, wine and chocolates arrived not on Sunday but 2 days later. Happy Mother's Day! Flowers were disappointing and not value for money compared with any high street florists. The wine was not as advertised,a note of apology was included stating that they had run out and a bottle of Rosie was enclosed as a replacement.Overall best summed up as dreadful service and very poor quality. “awful, shameful service ”

I ordered my mother flowers (through my daughter) from moonpig...and they never arrived. My elderly mother waited in for them all day, but still by 21-00hrs, no flowers had been delivered. ..no explanation was forthcoming and when we tracked them it stated that they hadn't even been passed on to the courier. ..as its a Saturday evening we are unable to speak to anyone to find out whats going on and I now feel that I have been tricked out of 40 pounds and my mother hasn't received a mothers day… Read Full Review

Absolutely gutted for my son, for the 1st time ever he bought with his own money and all by himself a £30 bouquet for me for Mother's Day, which arrived today with damaged and half dead flowers a small bunch probably £5 at the most in a supermarket and I don't think they will even live until Mother's Day!! I received a surprise delivery of flowers which were supposed to be for Mothers Day. They arrived Thursday-4days early-and were just left on the doorstep with no delivery card. The flowers were VERY POOR VALUE . I know my daughter paid £30 and I have seen better flowers in the supermarket for £3 . I ordered a £30 bouquet of flowers as a thank you to a friend hoping they would receive the gorgeous large bouquet advertised on the website. Sadly the bouquet they did receive was no better than a cheap bunch out of a supermarket. I did not complain though until they died less than a week after they were delivered. “Flowers look NOTHING like as advertised.”

My husband ordered me 2 dozen red roses from Moonpig for valentines day. When I opened the flower box and took them out, the look of disappointment on my partners face was vivid. The roses were tiny, limp & browning on the edges and looked NOTHING like the roses advertised on T.V. What should have been a lovely moment between us was spoilt by the feeling of being ripped off. Ordered 1 bunch of roses and a card at the cost of £37. The site crashed and NO conformation emailed etc. was sent to confirm order.. In valentines day 3 bunches turned up at my door along with a the card and was charged £105!! I did not order 3 and recieved no conformation that the purchase had taken place. Brilliant! Saturday morning 10am and I get this message "Thank you for your patience whilst we perform some essential maintenance to our site. Please try again later." What exceptional timing to do maintenance.

It's lucky these companies get VC money to survive.

And the site still does not work in Chrome browser. Unbelievable!

Yet another problem to report DoomPig! Ordered 2 cards 28th Feb. 1 to come to me and 1 to go direct to a relative for delivery 4th March. Problem: 2 Cards came to me, one of which was completely different than ordered and for someone else, and was written in Italian. The card direct to my relative of course never arrived. So 50% success rate on this order of 2 cards MoonPig. How can an automated system get this so wrong? What a shambles. I'm going to have to quit using these monkeys as I'm sick of writing these reviews/comments.

me too, 45 mins on tel to Moonpig. Flowers etc didn't arrive, another parcel for another address left in wheelybin. Disappointed valentine. Result - a refund no goodwill gesture....not using again

I ordered my valentines card on Sunday the email says it was to be dispatched on Monday when I checked online that said dispatched on Monday and yet it still hasn't turned up. This isn't the first time we have had problems with the website!! I had an email on Tuesday saying last chance for valentines cards to be delivered first class.
