Overall a great phone. As usual easy to use Nokia Menu. However, the back cover of the 6230 seems a little rickety at times. Strangely doesn't happen always but at times one does hear a creaky sound from the back cover, giving the impresssion that it is not a perfect fit.

The Nokia 6230 phone just about has it all. Finally a Nokia with a decent colour screen, boasting 65000 colours and a decent resolution of 128x128 pixels. Had my Nokia 6230 now for 8 days, having previously owned a 3210 for 3 years.
I have always liked and preferred Nokia phones over all other brands because they are well built and easy to use.
The only criticisms I have is the menu scroll button, which can be slightly twitchy in selecting functions ...

Just bought a Nokia 6230 for my wife as she wanted a great phone that wasn't a clamshell design. Got it from FoneShop.com as I was impressed with their service when I bought the Sharp from them. Full of features, Bluetooth, FM, MP3, memory card, video and loudspeaker. A full house. Looks great too.

The Nokia 6230 is the phone I've have had. Best video and photo I have ever in my life seen on a phone. MP3 player better then an ipod by far! Very cheap on O2, games good, car games too they are good but I don't like the chess games because I can't play it. This phone is very good and sexy.

Having used a 6610i for a shortish period of time, itself an upgrade from a 3310, I wasn't too pleased with the overall engineering quality of it nor its sound quality. So I switched to the 6230.
The improvement in unit solidity and general feel was remarkable. This feels like an expensive phone, a ...
