The people at phones4u have just informed me that due to faults the NEC E616 mobile phone is being recalled. I took my one back with a different fault and got told (eventually) the reason for the recall!
Apparently whe ...

The NEC E616 mobile phone is in general good looking with many features built in and this is what sold it to me originally but these were also to become its downfall.
Having only had the phone a week I can't say if my review is totally balanced but first impressions count. In general the standard ...

The NEC E616 is an excellent mobile phone, very functional, loads of features. Best camera i have used, good call quality (have had no probs at all with the three network). Just let down by poor battery life. But still the best phone i have used.

The Three network has serious problems. The first problem they need to fix is the language barrier when you phone them for help. I got this NEC E616 mobile phone about 3 weeks ago on contract from Three. As you can probably see from the pictures on the previous page, this is a nice looking, modernly designed phone. Not only does it look good, but it has some nice features too. The camera and video is great resolution, and all ...

I like the facility to add sortcuts to 2 sortcut menus. The phone is extremly easy to use and the amount o ...

Overall I would highly recommend the NEC E616 mobile phone, the phonebook software is easy to use, lets you record up to 4 numbers for each contact (home, office, mobile, other), email and URL's as well. You can configure the screen to your own pictures, either taken with the onboard camera, or phot ...

I am a bit old for new technology but slowly finding my way around this NEC E616 mobile phone and all it's gadgets. Had many phones but the things that you can do with this phone are fantastic.
Battery life was bad but as it was cycled on the charger the battery life increased, and now seems quite ...

Basically I am only confirming what has already been stated by the other two NEC E616 reviews on here. I have only had my mobile phone a little over a week now. But have experienced the connection losses mentioned.
The phone itself is fine apart from the battery problem also mentioned.
The Camera ...
