I've been a paying member of DatingDirect.com for 3 weeks. At times of high traffic the site can just blank out and features such as uploading photos or messenger etc stop working. You cannot tell who has joined and who is a member. Most people that winked or looked at my profile had incomplete profiles but had themselves hundreds of winks. Without paying for membership you do not know if they also are members? I suspect most people are not. Interesting to read some profiles. ...

I can't stand the "wink" system on new site, the old one worked perfectly fine and was more down to earth.
Also, does anybody know how to remove yourself from the site? It seems impossible to get taken off and I am sick of e mails telling me who's in my area! I agree with other comments , the Custom ...

I tried to cancel my membership and couldn't stop the direct debits. I had to write to them in the end. I strongly recommend people stay away from Dating Direct.

Not a single contact as far as I am aware. Even though I've paid to allow other members to reply. I've had far more luck on another site (3 dates in 4 months, one is now a good friend), but it is more niche.

I am not happy with this site as most of the big ones seem to be.
Therefore I do not recomm ...

I have met and chatted to many people on Dating Direct. Generally fairly good, though at times have wasted up to an hour trying to get through on messenger, often without success. Not very good value for money for me personally. Now finding it difficult to 'send this review!

I recently joined DatingDirect dot com. I can't say i was that impressed in general. I found quiet a few profiles that were from temp members explaining that they cannot reply (was good of them though), but I wondered why they even allow non-paying members to be on view.
