I have been invited to join Gmail (www.gmail.com) twice and every time I get the inviting email, I go to the web page and try and sign up, I get nowhere. What gives and can I get on? My friends tell me it is great.

I have been a G-Mail user for since January 2005 and I have to say, it is great! It has replaced my hotmail account as my primary email account and it even has a G-Mail notification pop up that lets you know instantly that you have mail. I registered for my GMail account in 2004 (from an invite) and didn't use it at first because I was using MSN Hotmail. I then occasionally used it for some mail (mainly newsletters and notifications) and it was very quick at loading messages and replying to them so I have used it ever since. Brillia ...

I have used all the major web mail packages - Gmail is the best so far... Almost good enough to give up using Outlook and rely on it for everything.
