Dreadful on selling products when you haev asked them not to do so.
I filled out their form which asks them NOT to contact me with information about products, by mail, by phone or in branch. Apart from by mail it doesnt work. Whenever I go into the branch I have to point out to cashiers that on th ...

I feel like they're not out to make huge sums of cash off me in underhand ways like other banks I've been with.I ...

Both parts of the bank have a range of current accounts ranging from the bells and whistles packaged accounts (which I find great value) to the basic bank account. The interest rates ...

Telephone banking very good. I've used them for 20 years, with practically no mistakes, high security and always excellent when any other bank goes wrong, or there's some credit card fraud.
Ethical, and not subject to market collapses, because they are a co-operative, without any shares. The custome ...

I have been with this bank for a number of years now and they have always been helpful and understanding with any problems that I have had. The website is a great day-to-day tool to make sure everything is as expected.
If things do go wrong you can always pick up the phone and somebody in GB is ther ...

The Cooperative is dedicated to keeping a UK call centre - I know because I checked some time ago - rather than outsourcing to a cheaper country - the benefits of dealing with someone 'local' particualary when sorting one's financial affairs are invaluable to me.
I believe the Cooperative status of ...
