Coopbank to me is worst bank poor everything they are charging me £19.50 as they say i did not have enough funds in my account
to pay a direct debit i was just a few pence overdrawn the day before i had £140+ in there i could not belive i was overdrawn this as the third time first time ...

Dreadful on selling products when you haev asked them not to do so.

I love my bank. Cooperative Bank 10. Friendly helpful UK call centres. Money invested ethically (and apparently not involved in derivatives, so considerably safer than other banks). I feel like they're not out to make huge sums of cash off me in underhand ways like other banks I've been with.I ...

Currently bank with smile (the internet bank branch of the co-op bank) and have other accounts with the Co-op itself.

Telephone banking very good. I've used them for 20 years, with practically no mistakes, high security and always excellent when any other bank goes wrong, or there's some credit card fraud.

Over twenty years I have never experienced a problem with the Co-operative Bank. I feel confident that my money is safe and that it is invested according to principles of social responsibility. I feel valued as a customer.

The Cooperative is dedicated to keeping a UK call centre - I know because I checked some time ago - rather than outsourcing to a cheaper country - the benefits of dealing with someone 'local' particualary when sorting one's financial affairs are invaluable to me.
