As I landed a really well paid job and was changing from weekly temp wages to monthly - I told my bank and all the organisations I pay bills to - to change my payment dates to suit payday. All said OK. 3 then messed up and debited before my wages went in. RBS slapped over £300 of charges on ...

A draining, time wasting experience from Bank of Scotland incorrect handing of the account opening to their failure to mail an account statement on closing the account.

There are plenty of branches and cash points available on the high street. Good overall bank and reliable service, but there is room for improvement. There rate of interest is not the best in the market.

Ive been with royal bank of Scotland for 6 years and have never had any problems. There was 1 time when I got a bank charge but they admitted they were in the wrong and refunded me back.

I have spent the last three months trying to get my RBS internet banking working. It has been working for the last two years then RBS did something to screw it up. Absolutely useless avoid at all costs.

I have been trying to open an account with RBS and they had problem with name change documents, being inefficient, loosing documents, forgetting to say I need to bring another documents and making to visit the branch again and again. The whole process took about 3 months with no outcome so far.
