I had a years supply, and made them last well over a year by wearing them for 5 weeks. Then, I ran out of the original supply and started into a new batch this summer, and began ripping right lenses after about 10 days. I have been wearing contacts since 1981 and have worn other lenses for over a whole year, so I know how to care for and handle them. The other thing was that when I switched to this new batch of lenses, my vision and comfort level changed noticeably. I feel as if Cooper... (read more)

I hate these contacts. I had no choice to try pro clear monthly disposibles again, because my high prescription and astigmatism is not available in ANYTHING ELSE!! i've never ever had problems with my normal yearly contacts. These pro clear are oviously made very poorly, i had the same issues. Tearing inside my eye, very disconforting. They barely last a week never mind a month. After paying almost 700 for these lenses i'm so not impressed. I will be ordering online next time, back to... (read more)

Was thrilled that I could finally get a disposable lense in my perscription (Proclear Toric). Similar to the experience others have had, they rip very easily. I had one rip in my eye and spent quite some time trying to extract the pieces. I now have a bloodshoot sore eye. I have written to Cooper Vision about the issue and will be interested in their response. My goal now is to get a refund and will have to go back to wearing a regular lense. (read more)

I have had MULTIPLE issues where the right contact is either ripped after a day or two, on occasion they last 10 days...NOT worth the price. Even contacted CooperVision with complaints...they say I must have my Optometrist submit the complaint. I am looking for a more durable contact...if anyone knows of anything, PLEASE post it! First of all, I want to make it clear that I didn't even want to give this any star rating. My optometrist highly recommended the product, I bought a six month supply, the first two made my eyes so uncomfortable and itchy I had to stop wearing contact for a few weeks after, each time. The third one, and last one I put on and immediately felt something stingy in my eye, when I took it off, there is a big chunk missing from the lense. So know I have 4 lenses for my right eye and none left... (read more)

Yes I just stumbbled across this review page and am very Glad I did because I bought 3 months supply of these lenses and within 3 weeks I had used the whole supply of the right eye contacts. Each one ripped within a week. I was very disappointed because I bought them from my optician and they are not cheap. The first contact I put in the left eye well lasted the month and because I had no right contacts left I ended up putting one for my left eye into my right. very frustrating. Will not be... Really bad Experience.
My doctor suggested these and when they arrived I opened the first pair and the left contact was already torn in the package! So I threw that one in the trash and tried another left contact. Within less than 20 minutes of the first use the contact had torn into several pieces in my eye and I needed to have them removed at the hospital after trying unsuccessfully for over 4 hours to flush them out. After checking out reviews of this product online I can see that... (read more)

These proclear torics are in fact VERY nice when the work well, However...
For the HEAFTY price tag the carry, they do not last very well at all...
I had some last for SEVERAL months....
I only tried that after one instantly tore on my 1st try putting it in.
So, the long and short of that is... it HAD to last 2 months just to make up for the failed one.
on my last 2 months supply, BOTH of my left contacts failed after one day...
so i made do with a right which was very close in... (read more)

I have worn Pro Clear contact lenses for years and have loved these lenses. However in the last few months they have been deterioraing in my eye! I have to pull over when driving and throw the lens away...am going through 4-5 per week. What has happeded to the quality that I used to have from Pro Clear? think twice before signing on. I too have a problem with tearing. On one occasion actually split in half while wearing. I will never wear these proclear again. I wanted B & L but my doctor thought these were better - I'm going to insist this time. (read more)

Had the same problem as others on here with proclear compatibles. The lens keep ripping for no reason, I'm getting through them at 3x the speed I would other lenses, I've never had this problem before in 15 years of wearing contacts! Also seem to have a problem with causing my vision to be blurry every now and again, although not always in the same eye. I find them generally quite uncomfortable and have just placed an order going back to my previous lenses as I have never had a problem... (read more)

I've worn proclear compatibles for 7 years and found them more comfortable than other lens and as comfortable as daily disposables - however went to the optician today and was told I have blood vessels growing up on my cornea and would have to wear them for a considerably shorter periods (currently all day for 6 days and would have to be 8 hours for 4 days) and eventual be unsuitable for contact lens or change to another lens that allows more oxygen to my eye. Am trialling the 30 day... (read more)

I love my Proclear Compatibles. They are light to wear, and no discomfort wearing them. I wear mine from 14-15 hours/day with no worries. Each lens lasts 1 month. I would highly recommend these lenses! (read more)

I couldnt believe it when i read the comments below - it confirms all my suspicions. There is definitely something wrong with these lenses. The first time my contacts ripped just after a day of wearing them, i thought it was just me. Then went the 2nd, the 3rd within a few weeks of each other (and these are supposed to be monthly wear!) and along with it, so did my confidence in proclear lenses. I am going back to my optician to cancel my prescription - been wearing lenses for 10years... (read more)

My doctor recently suggested that I switch to Proclear Compatibles, they were more expensive, but he said I would love them! I bought a 6 month supply...now 2 months later I only have 2 left for my right eye, and none for my left eye!!! They rip for no reason!! I had several rip completely in half! Sometimes right after I put a new one in my eye, it immediatly felt uncomfortable and when I took it out, it was ripped!! When I went back to my doctor to complain, they said it must be the... I have complained to my optometrist, but they just say to use wetting solution. I asked if they'd had other complaints & they denied it. I want to change to something better as I know this is NOT normal since I have worn contacts for years & have used all of the same contact solutions. (read more)

Proclear Compatibles are excellent and comfortable. I wear them for 12 hours and take out every night. I wear them for 2 weeks and replace them. At $2.50 a lens it's worth it to my eyes to replace every 2 weeks. (read more)

Basically with all contacts, you need to take care of them. With good care, these contacts can be great. I've never had these contacts rip or anything of that matter. From reading these reviews, all the problems were lack of care. Contacts mainly stick to your eyes when there is too much protein build up, which means you need to take your contacts out.. And the reason that they are ripping is because of rough handling or from cheap solution. Maybe changing the contact lens solution will... (read more)
