With a large bra cup-size I started shopping on Simplybe because they stocked a bra I couldn't get from a shop. My experience was fine then, so when they e-mailed me about a sale, I went to their site hoping to find a bikini (you don't get much selection for F-cups on most sites). I really like the way the clothes look, although the quality varies quite a bit. My complaint with this company is that you are ordering clothing from overseas and I wasn't aware of that. I thought they were expanding their company into the US, but that isn't the case. I ended up having to pay customs on an order for it to be released to me. The cost was over $60. One of the dresses started to come apart after 2 washes so i returned it. They charged me a £3 late return fee which they took off my credit card. When I complained they credited it to my account. An account they credit checked me for and awarded me £400 limit without me asking for it and despite the fact I paid up front. Today I received somebody elses order! When I called their customer services number, they kept me waiting for ages at 10p+VAT per minute. I asked them to call me back as it was their mistake and they said they can't as they only take calls and don't make them unless it is an emergency. So my order has gone AWOL and my card has already been debited. I have to be around for when their courier comes to collect someone elses order too. I wish I had seen these reviews before I had tried to order from Simply Be yesterday. I chose three items costing over $200 US, all showing in stock on the web page. The confirmation email said two of the items were backordered. Got another email 3 hours later saying the one remaining item in my order was being canceled. Well for the US site, it takes 2-3 weeks to get items that are in stock. Items that are out of stock, well there's no telling!
It's been almost a month that I've been waiting for backordered sandals. I ordered in advance because I'm going overseas and they are still not here. I called and they don't even have an update and they didn't even offer to cancel my order and issue a refund.

While the dress looked great on the website, it was not in person - but then again, it just did not look good on me. The problem lies in returning the merchandise from the US back to the warehouse in U.K. I sent the package back 3/16 and on 3/25 it was in transit to the U.K.warehouse - it is now 4/7 and I still do not have a refund. In my opinion this company has the worse customer service I have experienced since MFI and I can only hope that they go the same way.
My order should've been delivered by today but apparently it was damaged in transit by their courier and sent back without me ever seeing it. Did they replace the order and send it promptly? NO! I ordered a dress my size and when it finally arrived, it was far too big. I called and asked for an exchange to the next size down. Arranged a date for collection/delivery and although it was the same courier it had be two transactions. Courier never arrived. As a US customer I was charged a tariff on value of merchandise before postal service would release package. $43 on a purchase of $220. Customer service didnt have a clue. Was told I'd have to fax proof and a copy of my check then it could take 6 weeks to get a refund of the tarriff. Ordered some clothes about three years ago which did not come on time so had to buy something else from a high street shop. Sent the clothes back which came to about £90. I ordered over $300 work of clothes from simplybe.com over two and a half weeks ago. My order finally came yesterday (much to my delight). The clothes were just as cute as I had expected them to be. One dress was too big, but I had ordered it too big. It was the correct size that I had ordered. I did have to pay customs and shipping once the package finally got here, which just added to the cost. The customer people who answer the phone here in the States are friendly enough but there is something seriously wrong with this company. Items ordered end up being out of stock but no one tells you this and I only found out after 5 or 6 phone calls. Then getting the refund has been excruciatingly difficult. It takes a number of phone calls to get any correct information from these people.
I haven't yet received any merchandise so I can't comment on the quality ....but I am not hopeful... (read more)

I bought 3 pairs of shoes, all different brands, for "wide feet" (E fitting) that looked very pretty on the website. However when they arrived, they weren't wide at the ball of the feet and the toes like normal "wide shoes" (they pinched my toes, and I fit into wide childrens shoes). Instead they gave room around the ankle and sides of the feet and are obviously for larger ladies who carry some weight on their feet. They looked ridiculous on me. First order arrived on time but one item too small, arranged return via website, no one came for two weeks. Emailed customer services, who apologised and arranged courier. However, I was then charged as this was over the 14 day free returns agreement. Other item poor - buttons fell off on first day of wearing.

Of all the companies I have ever dealt with this one is the worst. I recently lost my job and all the other companies have been very understanding. Simply be harrass you with recorded calls every day 3 to 4 times, evening, weekends and then when you call them for assistance they have no understanding. I would never recommend then to anyone.
They add charges on top of charges and my bill has gone from £150 TO £350. (read more)

I was pleasantly surprised when I tried on the 32 inch length black pencil skirt and the grey pinstripe pencil skirt. Perfect fit on the waist due to elasticated sides. Being just five foot tall and a size 18 I very rarely manage to buy skirts that are the correct length but both skirts reached just below the calf, exactly where I like them to. Had problems once before but gave them second chance. Totally wrong item delivered and required item now shows on site as no longer available! No courier returns label so tried web site but this does not allow you to choose a day for collection. Customer service said to use post office which I've done. First order late but okay, second order paid up front as it was a big one. Never arrived but documented as returned goods so p&p charged as well as late returns. No card left from courier.
