“Horrible clothing & hidden charges”

I placed an order with Simply Be in preparation for a trip. I received one of four items before my trip. The pants I received split 12 inches while I was on my trip. Quality was horrible and poorly sewn. The remaining items have finally shown up 3 weeks after I placed the order with a note attached that I need to pay $44 for postage before my mail carrier can give me the package. “Simply Be is Simply Rotten”

I had never purchased from SimplyBe before but received a catalogue. After finding a good 15 items I was interested in, I went online only to find 13 of the 15 items out of stock. After a lot of searching I found 5 items, 3 items of which were on backorder. Checkout was impossible through regular credit card payments so I ended up using a credit card through Paypal. I wanted to update and state that SimplyBe managed to cancel some of my order but not all, although they still will not process a refund, telling me they have to email a supervisor who will "decide" about it. Also, of all the emails I have received from them about the order, backorders and cancellations, I have discovered the totals listed in these emails differ. I was charged $144 but one invoice says I paid $123, another says $132. Unbelievable.

“Never Again!”

I placed one order a few months ago and was relatively happy with the shopping experience and the quality of the clothing. I've kept my eye on a few items since then, and finally decided to make a purchase yesterday when they were offering 50% off a purchase of $200 or more. I do feel that their clothing is ridiculously overpriced, so it is only worth shopping here if you have a decent coupon code. “Never sent my order”

I placed an order for two items on a wednesday afternoon. I knew one item was backordered but the other one was released for shipment the following day- yet it never shipped. “The worst”

I was excited to find an online retailer that sold non-frumpy bathing suits for curvy women. I was also glad that you could order tops and bottoms separately, as my top is usually a larger size than my bottom. So I ordered a bikini top and bottom. “Ever heard of a slow boat? This moves like a row boat.”

Please read that in the UK dispatch means as long as they want to take. When they tell you shipping is 14 days after dispatch. That means wait until next season to get your items. They blame the US postal service. I have shipped US postal service all over the US and never had any package take over 2 weeks (may even be longer, still waiting and waiting, waiting, waiting.......) “They will never leave you alone”

I decided to shop with simply be as I find it difficult to buy larger clothes I like and they had a wide variety of clothes on offer....WORST DECISION EVER! They automatically sign you up for a credit account, constantly call you up offering insurance and duvets for crying out loud! They then charge a £12 transaction fee which is disgusting...on top of that their 'next day delivery' is a joke and you pay extra for receiving your clothes in 4 days on average! “Bad service all round!”

Have ordered through them a few times now and each time has been a hassle. Gave them the benefit of the doubt but now will never order through them again! 1 - I have a credit account I dont want 2 - I paid for named day delivery and they dont deliver on my chosen day so took an annual leave day for no reason! 3 - Customer service is appualing online. “customer service is awful”

The items i brought from simply be was good quality. Despite this there customer service skills are awful. On one or more occasion they have been rude, intimidating and threating and are not willing to discuss your exsisting account. Following a conversation with head office they were just as bad. “I love the clothes!”

I didn't like that I had to wait almost three weeks for delivery, BUT I was not disappointed with the items. I love the clothes and the fit on most of the items. The pants will have to be tailored around the legs but that is because I am an odd shape. The blouses were gorgeous. The materials were exquisite. I, too, have found the delivery time annoyingly long. I waited a month and a half for my Thanksgiving-time order! I am waiting now for an order placed on Feb 12!! It is highly irritating. But, like you, I find the quality and attractiveness of the clothes themselves great. They don't SAY how long it takes to ship anywhere on their site--this is part of the bad part. Wish they would tell you up front.

“Credit account”

I bought Fromm simply be only to realise that they automatically sign you up with a credit account which is not clear when payment is made. I had to call 4 times to ensure delivery was made on time and that I eventually could close the account. The goods were fine but because of this bad practise in unclear payment method I will never buy from simply be again. “Delivery service a joke!!! Damaged packaging and goods!!!”

Needed some warm winter Boots for a trip to Holland so opened an account, ordered the Boots and took advantage of the next day delivery service. “Delivery is a complete Joke, standard or next day DO...”

I ordered two pairs of jeans to be delivered next day, they weren't delivered next day. I called them up; they kept me waiting approx fifteen minutes on a premium rate number, so as you can imagine it turned out to be fairly expensive for me. “Never buy in this website. Simply Be is absolute rubbish.”

I created an account with Simply Be / Marisota and suddenly I was part of a credit system that I didn't asked for. They asked for my card details but they say they didn't charge me for the purchase and that I have to pay in 28 days time (I so didn't ask for that!!!). When you try to call Simply Be they keep you 10 minutes waiting on the phone and the cost of the call is very high. “Next day delivery”

The 'next working day' delivery service is a joke. People request this service for a reason; to receive their goods the very next day. I feel it is I'll advised to offer this service to customers when they have absolutely no guarantee of delivering your items within the time frame. “Not a happy bunny!!!”

Opened an account and ordered the cushion walk sandals size 9 to be delivered next day. After a week they delivered size 8 sandals, which were too small for me, although the delivery note stated they were size 9 yet shoes were labeled size 8 and they pinched my toes.
