“call centre problem of noise”

I am increasingly frustrated by the back ground noise when ringing in an order, making it impossible for me to be heard and the person taking the order to hear me! Today it was worse than ever, sounding like the operator was working in a turkey shed with all the birds gobbling at once ! Thanks for your review. I too am a U.S. shopper. I've read the reviews and just hope everything works out. I purchased from internet and catalog and all the items shipped out that day. I am accounting for a shipping delay but that's fine. With the amount of items I purchased from them the $8.95 flat shipping is excellent. There is no way I would have gotten that price from a US clothing company. So crossing fingers everything arrives in fine condition and at a reasonable time frame.

“do not order”

I am a US customer, placed my order 8/18 today is 9/4 and I have not received my 2 items! I am also not given tracking info and customer serbice has no info either! I have ordered from overseas before and was able to track pkgs! This has been a horrible and stressful experience! We order things because we want them, right? Very disappointing! I wish I had read these reviews prior to placing an order! I am a US customer and placed my order on 9/1 today is 9/20 and I have NOT received my order. Customer service SUCKS, they say it takes 7 to 10 business days. I point out that the USPS delivers on Saturdays . I asked for a refund and instead got a phone call from a supervisor telling me I have to wait longer. I wish I had not placed this order ~ never again!

I appear to have had the same thing happen to me. Apparently I have to contact their credit department as they want to speak to me. Therefore they should contact me, not have the customer contact them on a 0844 number.

“Treating loyal customers like dirt!”

I've been with simply be for two years now. Always paid my account bill well before time. My credit limit started off at £150 and has now been increased to £1500. Which goes to show that I'm a good customer who always pays on time. A few days ago I placed an order for a laptop for my son the order was successfully placed. “Shocking customer service - employees are terrible”

Products that I've used are fine (I've only ever bought jeans from them but they're good) but the level of constant promotion is awful, as well as their customer service. I constantly receive catalogues in the post despite having asked not to as I buy online. I receive emails very frequently that clog up my inbox, despite having opted out of them, too. “Brilliant service & clothes”

I've had Next day Delivery on 2 different parcels and have arrived on time and early morning. Quality of my clothes, so far, have been brilliant and well fitted. The branded clothes such as voi, are different measurements in sizes so be careful. “TERRIBLE SERVICE”

For a long time I did not order from Simply be because of issues in the past with overcharging. I decided to use the service years later as I was desperate for new clothes. The clothes I received are of an awful quality! My leggings sprout a hole in the backside (good thing I only bought them to wear under my work trousers and not just on its own as my rump would have been on display). “Horrifyingly SLOW shipping, products not worth the $$”

Positives: Clothes of a good quality, accurate sizing, easy return, on-time and quick delivery, some good discounts. I opened a credit account with Simply Be in February 2013 and was quite surprised at being given a limit of £125 due to having a previously poor credit rating so was quite pleased I could begin repairing it. I ordered and had delivered an average in quality chest of drawers. I received my first statement and paid half of the balance immediately. The same thing has just happened to me. I've been a customer for two years now. Have a £2000 credit limit. Needed a new laptop for my son. Ordered it. It was accepted. I checked the order status a few days later and it had been cancelled. No phone call. I rang and spoke to a very rude lady who told me the same thing as you were told.
I'm disgusted that they would treat loyal customers like this. I've always paid my bill on time every month.
Going to pay account off and close it.

SIMPLY BE..... What DISGUSTING SERVICE. I ordered items late one night, happy to pay cash for all. They arrived and were rubbish - still all in the bag 3 months later. It clearly says that orders act as a request to open a credit account. When you go to checkout, It asks how you would like to pay and gives you 2 options: Pay via personal account or credit/debit card. The bag it comes in clearly says, tear/cut here to open. If you open it properly, you can fold it over and selloptape it.

“Dont Understand it!”

Simply Be are your average catalogue company. If you are smart with what you buy and how you pay it off they can never come after you for any more money. Their delivery service is OK, takes on average 2 days for my items to be delivered which is fine for me. But you can't rely on the service as there are always outside influences (weather etc) just like with the Post Office and any other delivery service. Never received my items despite being charged for them and delivery costs. Then when I complain, they send me a letter that I have to return to them so they can investigate but I have to pay to return the letter! It might only be the cost of a stamp but why should I pay when I have already been charged for my items and delivery and then they don't arrive.
