Overall, Primrose Valley is a great place to go with your family. There is so much to do and see, you will never be bored. Caravans were clean and had most things inside. Staff are friendly… Read Full Review

Written on: 21/06/2006 by callylea (1 review written)

We went to Primrose Valley Haven Holiday Park in April 2006. There are lots of activities for the children, and they loved the rock climbing and the pool.

We were unable to park near the caravan because it was very muddy, but despite that we had a brilliant time! We are going back again in October… Read Full Review

Like another reviewer arrived 3pm at Haven Primrose Valley and waited until 3:30pm(check in time), given ticket 341, yes that's 340 other families to be checked in 1st. Sent to wrong reception (by staff) then it just got better. The linen store had ran out(don't worry sir some will be delivered to your caravan). 9:45pm my baby and toddler were overwhelmed by this. On entering our caravan it was clear it hadn't been cleaned(still full of previous guests rubbish, filthy carpets, oven and dirty… Read Full Review

We love primrose valley. Windsors family room is the best place to be with older children, and Jesters for the younger. The funstars are always in a good mood and provide a great experience and excellent entertainment. We usually go around July time, with our 15 and 17 year old children who meet new people and HATE coming home. I'd recommend Primrose Valley to anybody… Read Full Review

“We have been going to the Haven Primrose Valley...”

Written on: 18/03/2006 by nicdixon (1 review written)

We have been going to the Haven Primrose Valley holiday park for the past 2 years, and we have had a fantastic time. My children, my husband and I have stayed in a 3 star caravan, which was great. It had no luxuries, but it was clean and everything worked. Last year we decided to go for GOLD. This was wonderful, and total luxury. We are going back this year and going gold again, but even if you were staying in a touring caravan or a tent you would have the best time in the world. Also, the… Read Full Review

Written on: 05/06/2005 by STIMO (1 review written)

Haven Holidays Primrose Valley - We arrived for a 4-night bank holiday break. We had pre booked 3* accomodation and were told check in was 3.30pm. We arrived at 3pm and waited patiently with our 3 children untill 3.30pm. At this point we were given a raffle ticket to queue to check in to our accommodation. The ticket No was 102 which meant that 101 other families had to check in before I could. We eventually got checked in at 4.50pm and the accommodation given was a chalet. 5 mins later we… Read Full Review

We booked ''standard'' accommodation at Haven Holidays Primrose Valley (booked through daily express ''offer'' it was filthy, the smoke alarm was hanging down from the ceiling without a battery, the reception did not want to know about re locating unless money was handed over. We left and went home......a 230 mile round trip for nothing, our advice is go somewhere else...honest...!!!!… Read Full Review

I loved it at Primrose Valley. The best thing was the night time entertainment in the Windsor's family room. This room had the best entertainment in it with the best staff but I got to say Ash was the best. and even though the bar was packed it's just a sign of how good it was the fact everyone wanted to be there. I just can't wait to go there again some day and hopefully Ash will still be there… Read Full Review

Written on: 08/09/2004 by TheShieldsFamily (1 review written)

I am a single mum with 4 children, 2 teenagers & 7 year old twins; we spent a week at primrose valley, booked through haven. The chalet we stayed in was a little worse for wear when we arrived, but we didn't go there to spend a week in the chalet!! The facilities that were available were brilliant for kids of all ages (even big kids like me!)At no point during the week did we get bored. The children were very safe and there were plenty of helpful staff & also other holiday makers who were only… Read Full Review

Written on: 29/08/2004 by clarkand (1 review written)

I think Primrose Valley needs to do some rethinking on the way forward, as the state it is in is very unacceptable for the amount of money people spend each day of their holiday their. I think they should lower the price get more stuff included in the tickets other than the pool and train their staff
Get something done… Read Full Review

I disagree with this review because...I think it's a bit harsh and you must of been on a different holiday than us we found it to be great yes it is steep in prices but most places are that's how they make there business.

Written on: 14/08/2004 by hawk1979 (1 review written)

Primrose Valley is the best Haven camp site going. And there is a lot of things to do for the children. You have a wicked swimming pool and you can do rock climbing, Absailing and Archery. The Haven mates are really good with kids. And you have a night club on site. I have been there about 10 times since I was 15 and I'm now 25… Read Full Review

Written on: 17/07/2004 by nothappyatprimrose (1 review written)

We spent four days at the Primrose Valley and booked through a private let. While the caravan was fine, nice and clean the park and site was not what we expected. Everything cost a lot of money and like the first review we were £100 + per day. We dined out at the Chinese one night and a meal for two adults and one child was £36 (main meal only and three soft drinks). The arcade cost a fortune and this is where you will spend most of your time if the weather is bad, but be prepared for unruly… Read Full Review

Written on: 11/04/2004 by sunshine44sunshine (1 review written)

Haven Holidays Primrose Valley - After you have been on the fair for an hour and then been in the amusements for an hour there is very little else to do, everything is very expensive and most days after we'd spent £100 we didn't know what else to do. The kids were bored with it all after a few days and there is no-where else to go to, surrounding Scarborough and Bridlington are nice places for days out, but again full of the same fairs and amusements. On camp there is a very stingy food… Read Full Review
