nice beach but very steep access. Swimming pool nice but no adult swimming area. 4 adults and 1 child squeezed into a tiny 2 bed caravan - not good but seemingly acceptable to staff. Friendly and helpful staff but a bit too laid back - allowing large queues to form whilst taking their time serving at the bar etc. Food was nice and not too badly priced.
The only issue really was that it is not so much family orientated but child orientated - not much for adults to do except for the… Read Full Review

Loved it! Myself, husband & 3 of our children stayed at Devon Cliffs for 4 nights & it was great! I was very worried when I read the reviews but obviously some people like a bit of a moan. Loads for the kids to do & the caravan was a budget one but very clean. We were 5 mins walk (with a toddler) to the beach & the entertainment complex. Beach is gorgeous & we luckily had one good day to make sandcastles :D Definitely going again next year. Don't be put off by some of these reviews!… Read Full Review
Haven - Devon Cliffs Holiday Park
Having booked a really good deal online for Half Term , I was slightly concerned that I'd made a mistake when I read some of the previous reviews. We'd never been to a 'holiday camp' before, but with a 6 & 8 year old boys we decided it was worth a shot, and also enticed my brother and his family along too.
Yes - the site is steep, the clue is in the name 'Devon Cliffs'!
Yes - the site is very large, but the facicilties are well managed.
Yes - the caravans are a… Read Full Review
ive been to devon cliffs for the past 3 years and yes i did enjoy it until i found out about how the women bar staff make there extra money , i am absoultly sickened by what i found out and also by a lttle undercover work between me and my boyfriend decided NOT to bring our children again… Read Full Review
hello we just come home from devon cliffs well what can i say we had no heating it was freezing only one small gas fire to heat a 3 bedroom caravan. The facilitys was not big enough to cope with the amount of… Read Full Review

when reading through the other reviews we were very worried about going, when we arrived the reviews couldn't have been more wrong. the camp is beautiful, it is very large and hilly. we have 3 children under the age of 5 and the entertainment was brilliant, there was even play areas for my 11 months old daughter to play on. the caravan was clean and we was very close to the complex and didnt hear any music or people coming out of the pubs late at night. the 2 showbars had different events every… Read Full Review

I have just been to devon cliffs on a break free offer and before i went i was really worried about what the holiday complex would be like having read the reviews. Well, we found it was a really lovely holiday! We were in a standard caravan which was clean, tidy and spacious, the entetertainment was really good, lots of places to eat and the staff were really friendly and helpful. i cant wait to go back again!… Read Full Review
Returned from a £9.50 Sun holiday on 30th April 10. I have to admit I was really put off by some of the reviews on here but the holiday was one of the best I've ever had! I can only imagine that some people are put off by the size of the park (check in did take a while) but there is so much to do that you are never bored.
Sandy beach connects to the campsite itself and there is a cafe on the beachfront. The site is quite hilly so I can understand why some people would complain but I… Read Full Review
We just returned from devon cliffs on 23rd of April. Me, my husband and 4 year old twin boys stayed in a 3 bed superior caravan and paid an extra £20 for a 2010 model. People complaining about the older caravans then pay the extra money for a 2010 model. I did that for this reason. We were about a 5 minutes walk from the main complex and had a sea view. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The entertainment staff amused my children every night. The beach was lovely and secluded by cliffs… Read Full Review

We stayed in the superior caravan for 3 nights at Devon Cliffs (Sandy Bay)
1. Access to the caravan was full of mud and broken slabs.
2. Caravan nets/curtains were broken and kept coming off the rails.
3. Dripping tap in the bathroom.
4. Oven not working.
5. No eletric, kept switching itself off.
6. Bleeping fire alarm in caravan.
7. Dirty cups and plates.
We asked receptionist to sort all these problems out, they only sorted out was Number 1 with new slabs and we had to live with the other… Read Full Review

2/4/2010 3 nights Superior 2 Bed caravan £179....Left after 1 appalling night and woudl never recommend to anybody!
Dirty stained mattress, Duvet, and pillows. Good job had my own.
No paved areas and as wet, surrounded by a muddy bog (being 7 months pregnant, not ideal and dangerous)
Cold - With gas fire, Oven and hob on, still could see your breath. Had to sleep in living area instead of bedrooms.
Dirty Sink, cups, surffaces and smelt of stale smoke and wet dog.

Deluxe Caravan - £490 at start of season for a week, mildew on curtains and vents, cold and damp with only one small gas fire to heat living area and 3 bedrooms.
No insulation so caravan got cold quickly - basically throwing energy away. 14" TV with heavily curved screen circa 1990 was barely watchable. No paved route to caravan, it rained all week so this was slippery and muddy.
Site General - "Buy a Caravan" signs everywhere incl. in pool area, insufficient parking, non-refundable deposits… Read Full Review
wE Have just got back from a week in Devon cliffs stayed in a standard caravan which was ok and was very clean and tidy. The entertainment was ok I didnt think it was very organised and they didnt really understand that children get very impatient as they really hanged the entertainment out by making the children sit and wait for ages for the shows. The bar staff and waiting staff were all over the place not knowing where they were coming or going and sooo slow. I also think they had little or… Read Full Review
This was the best British holiday that i have ever been on. Me and my partner have been to Devon Cliffs twice now and we both loved every second of it...so much so that we extended our break while we was there. We stayed in a standard caravan and it was lovely, clean and a decent size. The staff were really frienly and night time entertainment was fantastic. The site was right next to the beach and because we had really good weather we spent alot of the time at the beach sunbathing. There is a… Read Full Review
