    We had a very bad experience of a typical holiday at Butlins when we went to Minehead. We stayed in Gold accommodation, which was dirty, sheets ripped, lampshades missing, stains on the sofa, cobwebs on the ceiling, glasses cracked.     Butlins Minehead - Just came back from four days at Butlins, booked silver accomadation and half board.     Our family had a 4 night break at Butlins Minehead, we had a great time even though we had doubts before we left. All Butlins staff go out of their way to make sure you have a great time.     We have been going on Holiday at Butlins for the past 5 years with our 2 young children. (ages 4 and 2 1/2). We have visited all three parks and Minehead is our favourite. Here is why we think it is a great place and why we return each year.

    We were very pleased with Butlins Minehead, free upgrade to silver (self catering) modern apartment near car park and Skyline Pavilion. Entertainment throughout the day and evening.     We went to Butlins in 2002 on a sun holiday and stayed in a sliver accommodation...which was very shabby, but apart from this had a fantastic holiday.     Butlins at minehead is great! The staff are really pleasant, especially the shop staff, Newsbreak Ocean News and Jokers are the top three shops on resort. They boast a clean, pleasant environment and seem extremely well run. Overall, Butlins is a very good family resort.

    I along with a few other people decided to go to butlins minehead after being recommended, the train to get to Minehead was long but apart from that everything was great, I have been going for two years now and am going again this year.
