I recently ordered the "Strikingly Chic" arrangement from Teleflora for a friend who had major surgery in a Seattle Hospital. The arrangement is described, on the site, as "An eye-catching display of blossoms in sizzling hues of hot pink, fiery orange and sunshine yellow is arranged in a tall glass vase that ' s decorated with a pink bow."
I placed the order at 2pm, eastern time, which is 11am, Pacific. Teleflora is very specific that same day deliveries must be placed before 2pm in the time… Read Full Review

I was very disappointed when the mother's day flower bouquet I ordered from teleflora never arrived. I spoke with two people on their customer service line which assured me that they would call me back when they figured out what the problem was. I never received a call from either one of them. I attempted to contact someone through their customer service line for the last time to cancel my order. It was like they never existed. No answer and no place to leave a message. Finally had to report… Read Full Review

I ordered one of the most expensive set of flowers from Teleflora (pastel roses over $160) because we were in bit of a rough patch. Three days later when I went to here place I saw the flowers - they deliver a $60 set of multi-color roses, even yellow representing friendship to my girlfriend of 3 years. This was a major screw up. I called them to complain, they said they will pick up the flowers and deliver a new set the next day and offered me a 20% discount. I was so angry I said I wanted… Read Full Review

Teleflora is a terrible company. They screwed me on a recent order. I should have learned from the first order I placed last year when they substituted flowers and sent a skimpy arrangement when I had paid for a MUCH nicer one. They lied about delivery dates 3 times over 4 days. On the 5th day they said they couldn't fill the order because there was "no fruit" in Florida and "no azalea plants." Hmmmmm. The bottom line is if you have a discount, they either skimp on the order or end up… Read Full Review

I wonder how many Mothers are like me ringing their children this morning , to thank them for for a 'beautiful' bouquet of flowers they have received , when in fact they look little better then those which you see displayed on a garage forecourt.
I raised the matter with the florist on Friday when they arrived . She suggested they placed their order elsewhere next time and promptly hung up! I have spoken to three different members of the Telflora Customer Service dept and emailed… Read Full Review

Very bad customer service and did not deliver what I ordered. I do not recommend any one using them unless you don't care what they send and how much you pay for it. Sent a cheap substitution without notifyling me first! Customer service hung up on me when I asked for something to be done. I paid 55.00 and they sent 5 carnations and a spider mum! I had ordered a "zen" arrangement that included orchids. Not even close to my order!… Read Full Review

Here is a copy of the letter that I sent to their customer service person in Canada. The response was that they were still clinging to the fact that they did "deliver on the date" specified. I still challenge this point. They did give me the address of Teleflora headquarters in L.A. but no phone number. Apparently, the floral company of the whole world cannot be bothered to even speak to customers at the "top of the company" (CEO). Shame on you Teleflora! :(
Here is my letter:

They refunded 50% of the charge, but would not refund 100% even though these were the first flowers I'd had delivered to my new girlfriend. Not the good first-impression I wanted to make (even though she was very understanding)… Read Full Review

Do not order from teleflora!
i ordered a very specific arrangement for valetine's day. flowers, and moss, in a rectangular box - a "zen" design. the arrangement was stunning and unique. what arrived was cheap wild flowers in a standard glass vase. nothing like what i ordered and certainly not worth $60! luckily, i had asked my spouse to send a picture (b/c i was so excited to see what they looked like!) or i would have never known it was all wrong!
i called to explain the situation (it's a call… Read Full Review

To me, the quality of the customer service is poor and I think the relationship that teleflora has with some of the local florists needs to be improved. Beware of having flowers delivered in Nashville, TN… Read Full Review

I ordered an arrangement on Feb. 13th, 2008 to be delivered on Valentine's Day and now it is the 16th and still no arrangement. I have had no response to my 3 emails as of yet. At this point, I highly advise you to go to your local florist and arrange for delivery. I will be requesting a refund from this company. I am very displeased… Read Full Review

Teleflora also has many of their Member florists who have their own websites, hosted by Teleflora. You can save a lot of money by ordering direct. The shop who untimately fills your order, is the one you deal with.
All flower shops are inundated with orders at Mother's Day, Christmas and Valentine's Day. No Florist can guarantee 100% satisfaction at these periods. If anything, order early… Read Full Review

I ordered flowers from teleflora for my best friend in KY on December 20th for delivery on 22nd. Received TWO confirmations, the latter on December 22nd, reading "Order Reference #: 3***** Thank you for using Teleflora's Flower Club. We have placed your order with one of our Teleflora florists for hand delivery to xxx in West Somerset, KY on Saturday, December 22, 2007. Again, thank you for using Teleflora - the world's largest network of neighborhood florists." Gee, now that sounds like a… Read Full Review

Not even close to what was ordered. 2 days late in delivery. Needed to keep calling to ask what the status was. Tried to cancel, but they promised to make good on the situation. Make Good?? They asked for more money. I refused. They called back and apologized. They then charged me more money on my debit/credit card than the original. The customer service rep was polite, but her supervisor was not. I told her there was a problem, but she wouldn't even listen, and just talked over me… Read Full Review

First, the quality of the website... It might be a well-designed format, but they are just pictures of pretty flowers...not representative at all of what one receives. I'm sure they bank on the fact that whoever receives them is not in the same city/state or country. The average buyer would never know.
Why did I choose Teleflora? I felt, due to Teleflora being the biggest name in the industry of flowers, this would be a win/win situation. This is my first and last experience with… Read Full Review

I would suggest finding a local florist and ask them to send a picture of the arrangement before the flowers are delivered. In no other industry is this an acceptable business practice. If I ordered something out of a catalog I would expect to get what I paid for or get my money back. Why do florists advertise one thing and then use the old bait and switch and you're supposed to like it? Yeah, yeah - I know "not everything is available." However, the expectation of a comparable arrangement… Read Full Review
