For a company that is a glorified mail order firm their (Interflora)attitude and customer service is atrocious.
I assume they delay treating complaints for 7 days to absolve themselves of liability under the terms they advertise stating complaints must be received within 7 days.

My first Valentine's day as a wife, and I thought I would surprise my husband with a single rose in a vase. I placed the order in late January to ensure that I got it in early. I ordered this over the telephone to ensure that I got all my questions answered. I can not believe you wanted something delivered at 10 am. I am a florist and do you know how many deliveries we do on a busy time. We probably average from 150-200 deliverys on that 1 day alone so we cannot be everywhere at once! On the other hand you should not of been promised this time it is ridicolous.

Wrong basket delivered. It was a basket with green leaves and red carnations of approx. 5 inch high - done in a simple round shape. It didn't even contain one Christmas decoration - or any of the shape advertised.

My niece and nephew who sent the flower - when they looked at what had been delivered were very upset. Interflora have now refunded 50% of cost to my niece as a gesture.

I'm afraid I have given Interflora one to many chances - this isn't the first time I've been disappointed. The last time when I actually managed to get through to customer services all I was offered was a £5 voucher off my next purchase.

Bouquet was not at all as described - more leaves then flowers and even then the leaves were brown.

I ordered an arrangement from www.interflora.co.uk for mothers day and they came on the right day, however when the plastic was unwrapped the white roses were already brown on the outer petals and even some of the grasses that accompanied them were in parts brown, the pink roses were ok but by the next day were looking a bit tierd. For mothers day I ordered online from Interflora a bouquet of flowers in a cream cermaic pot for my mum. In total I paid £47.00 for the flowers, a bottle of wine and the extra charge for it to be delivered on Mothers Day. It was delivered on the right day, but the arrangement was put in a horrible brown basket and not the pot that I wanted. My mum said that the flowers did look nice, but by the Wednesday most of the flowers were dead.

I very often live in the far reaches of inhospitable lands, that said I still need to send flowers for one reason or another. For over twenty years I have used a florist who is linked to Interflora. When I call I always explain what I want, where to send the Flower arrangement and as important the time and date etc., adding what I ask in the message or greeting on the attached card. The florists are always sensitive to my reason, have never failed to take all down accurately and relayed that along the chain that only they have to ensure my wishes are carried out to the letter. There has never been a time when I have asked them if they have got to the destination. They have I know always ensured fresh and crisp flora has been used. I would have no hesitation of recommending their services. Even a child could have confidence if they called they would I know be very helpful and yes I will be using them again, probably several times.

I work abroad and send flowers home via Interflora. The service has always been good and in 30 years I have never had to complain.
For the first time, I used the Internet to order a plant arrangement to be sent to my Mother for her birthday on 1st March 2006.
We wondered why she did not respond to the gift, and after a week, she informed me that the quality was very poor and she was unhappy for me, as I had sent the Interflora product to her and it was not very nice.

Hi, I am currently going through a complaint procedure with Interflora as like yourself I live abroad and have used them quite satisfactorily over a few years. I recently paid for a rather nice bouquet of flowers (as per the photo on their website) to be delivered to my mother for her birthday. It was only a few days ago I received a photo of the flowers that in no way reflected the picture on their website. There were flowers clearly missing and the bouquet clearly did not warrant the Stg 30 I paid. The intial reply I got from their 'customer service dept' was that the recipient had 7 days to complain but how does the recipient know what they are supposed to get???? I'm badgering them and think, that despite the photo on their website being misleading as to what you get for your money, the florist is pulling the wool over their eyes too! I am really not happy but will keep badgering them till I get an acknowledgement that they/their florist was in the wrong and some sort of compensation.

I have sent a lot of flowers through Interflora to Japan where my son was working and have always received photos of the family holding them, as they always have a camera to hand in Japan, and know, from my son that they have always been very nice. I sent from a local shop to Japan with no problems at all. I look no further than Interflora when I have to have the annual bouquet delivered to my girlfriend. I have never had a problem when using this company and there definitely comes a sense of peace of mind when dealing with a large organisation like this.
